Spire Methley Park Hospital

I had a hernia operationnDoctor Mamhood was my surgeon.nEverything was simple to understand every step of the way was simple.nnI was treated with respect and was advised of all the possible outcomes and how they could affect me from infection to treatments.nnHowever the operation I had was a total success the hospital staff and facilities where secondcto none I had it done through the NHS abd was treated like the private patients buoa etc.nI had no pain no symptoms after the operation. I was kept in over night as my key tones hadn't returned to their expected levels because of my type two diabetes and I live alone.nThe food and aftercare was exceptionally good.nI couldn't recommend highly enough to do them justice.n8 weeks on I'm all good to go live my life and resume my golf etc I actually felt good enough after 2 weeks boot stuck to the advise.nThank you Methley spire....

I can't speak more highly of the staff here and the care they gave me for my day surgery. Jennifer especially and her team on the ward were so caring, friendly and couldn't do enough for me. The surgical and recovery team were just as fantastic. The catering team made me a lovely lunch, worthy of a 5* hotel! Thank you so much staff at Spire Methley, you made an otherwise stressful day much more comfortable :).

Has a Hernia operation this week. Staff were fabulous throughout and highly professional. Mr Madrid performed the op with terrific support from the team. The ward staff led by sister Katy are outstanding and a special shout for Anne who was on duty overnight. She was brilliant.nI would recommend this hospital without question.

I had a minor surgery at Spire today and the only word I can describe is pleasant. It was my first surgery in the UK and I had no one to come with me as everyone was busy.nnKaty White, the ward sister made me felt like I had a family member with me throughout the procedure. I told her I was anxious as this is my first time and she made sure I felt safe, checking in on me to the point she was already waiting for me in my room before I came back from the operation theatre. She reminded me of my mom when she gave me post operation care instructions before I left the hospital as she made sure I remember all the steps and such haha.nnI would also like to mention Sue, Frazer and David who helped me inside the operation theatre. They helped me distract myself from the procedure as I was very anxious. Because of them, it almost felt like I was with my group of friends, talking about Otley run and such.nnDiane was an angel who took care of my meals. Even though I told her I am not picky, she made sure she goes through all the menu and that I get the best meal suited for my taste.nnAnd last but not least, Dr. Ian Beckley. Amazing is an understatement when it comes to him. The surgery was quick, neat and subtle to the point I almost fell asleep. His precise decision making made me feel safe during the surgery and he knew how to build trust between us throughout our interaction.nnOverall, Spire made my very first surgical experience in the UK a very pleasant experience. :)
