CARE Fertility - Nottingham

I am extremely disappointed and frustrated with the care provided at CARE Fertility Nottingham. My recent experience with a delayed blood test has highlighted just how inadequate the clinic’s processes are. Despite needing my sample to arrive in Chicago within a specific timeframe, the clinic didn’t realize it was delayed until I contacted them myself to ask for results. Shockingly, there seems to be no tracking or confirmation system for these essential samples—something I would expect even for a standard online purchase, let alone something as critical as a blood sample. If I can get tracking for Amazon parcels, it’s unacceptable that CARE Fertility has no system in place to ensure my sample arrives at its destination safely and on time.nnThis isn’t the first issue I’ve encountered, and I have had to change consultants due to repeated negligence, poor communication, and a lack of accountability. If my embryo weren’t stored at this clinic, I would have transferred elsewhere long ago. These ongoing delays are having a significant impact on our treatment timeline, with our embryo transfer now set back even further. To make matters worse, I now have to repeat the blood test, which previously took 5 or 6 attempts due to inexperienced staff.nnThe impact on patients is simply not taken seriously here. CARE Fertility Nottingham needs to urgently improve their tracking, communication, and level of care to provide the reliability and professionalism that fertility patients deserve.

I am deeply frustrated with the experience my sister has had at CARE Fertility Nottingham. The level of care provided here is unacceptable. Recently, she faced a significant delay with her blood test, and the clinic didn’t even realise that her sample had not reached Chicago on time until she followed up herself. It’s shocking that they lack a basic tracking system for such crucial samples.nnThis isn’t an isolated problem. My sister has had to change consultants due to ongoing issues with negligence and poor communication. If her embryo wasn’t stored at CARE, she would have moved on to another clinic a long time ago. These continuous delays are causing real harm to her treatment timeline and pushing back her embryo transfer.nnNow she faces the frustrating prospect of repeating a blood test, which was already a struggle that required 5 or 6 attempts due to the inexperience of the staff. CARE Fertility Nottingham clearly doesn’t take the impact of these issues on patients seriously. I strongly advise against using this clinic for fertility care..

Here to give a balanced review. Not hugely impressed with Care Fertility, unfortunately. Started well with the initial testing - pleasant private clinic in Grantham with a nurse who had a nice balance of empathy and medical professionalism. Down hill from here, however. Dr Francis was difficult to understand and very blasé with his advice. Told us to keep trying but omitted to tell us that the tests would need to be repeated again if we needed treatment after 12 months. So now asking us to pay again before progressing with treatment. On this basis, we are going elsewhere..

Care Nottingham have been excellent with Me & my husband from start to finish. I had one embryo transfer with donor eggs. I am now 4 weeks pregnant after our 1st go. I recommend care Nottingham to anyone looking for a good fertility clinic.. all the staff are lovely and help you feel at ease at every appointment. Firstly, my experience was a terrible one. I will focus on the particular consultant that handled my case.nDr Abraham Francis is not professional at all.nHe lacks good communication skills, he is not empathetic and not approachable. He makes things difficult for patients. Dr Francis is fun of sending patients back to their doctors for reasons best known to him only. I spent 2 years plus going to care fertility clinic, wasting time and money as they are not cheap but still went back empty handed. I was so stressed and frustrated just because of dr Abraham Francis. A friend advised that I should go to nurture fertility in Nottingham. I went to nurture and now my baby is 7 months old. I didn't even spend much but I had a positive result.nDr Francis, please be gentle with your patients. What they need is reassurance, not u making things difficult for them.nThank you.
