When we started our journey with GCRM Fertility, I genuinely felt we were in safe hands. The staff seemed kind and knowledgeable, and we put our trust and a lot of money into what we hoped would be a supported and respectful experience.nnWe got as far as treatment planning, scans, and on the day of almost purchasing our medications We were emotionally and physically invested. Tthings started to unravel quickly after payment in full was made. The tone shifted. I went from feeling like a valued patient to feeling like a burden especially because of my disability & a few other factors.nnCommunication became cold and accusatory and extremely rude I was made to feel like I was the problem, instead of someone deserving of care and compassion. The way certain situations were handled were deeply discriminatory. It was distressing and confusing, especially during such a vulnerable time.nnWe ended up needing legal support just to have our voices heard and after the shock of the nasty email that was sent to us, after meeting with a lawyer we had a case of a number of issues and decided we were filing a formal complaint, which was investigated the clinic admitted full fault and issued a full refund, Erica who handled our complaint was the best member of staff we felt we had experienced and took our complaint seriously.nI do appreciate that they took responsibility in the end however the emotional damage had already been done, and I know from what’s happened I can still take it further in terms of legal issues however we are exhausted and feel this is where it ends.nnI’m sharing this not to attack, but to help others make informed choices. If you have additional needs / especially around accessibility I’d advise asking very clear questions early on.nnEveryone deserves to be treated with dignity, no matter their circumstances. I sincerely hope GCRM takes real steps to ensure future patients never go through what we did.nI’m broken, we’ve ended our journey altogether now since it’s been so traumatic & trust is gone completely.nnIm not saying don’t go with GCRM, I’m saying please make sure especially if you have any disabilities/ genetic questions please get them to be honest from the get go.

I wanted to share our experience up until this point, as choosing to go private for fertility treatment, is not only a big decision, but sometimes the only option available. I want to reassure anyone who is considering FTP GCRM, that this is where you want to be. They are welcoming, friendly, caring, informative, professional, compassionate and kind. If you are anything like me, and find it difficult to retain lots of new information, do not worry, as they always send detailed letters indicating everything that has been discussed with you and they also provide information leaflets. We have had all our investigations completed at the clinic and we are now 4 days post egg retrieval, and have nothing but positive comments about our experience this far. We feel that the pricing has always been well explained, we have never felt pressured into making a decision, and they always inform you of all the options available to you.nI must say it hasn’t been completely plane sailing, as I was an anomaly, and experienced severe OHSS with my first round of fertility treatment. However, the clinic are always on hand, they knew what to do, I felt like I was in good hands and they adapted our treatment plan.nWe are extremely happy and impressed with the level of care we have had this far, and I plan on writing another review once we are further on in our journey.

Going through IVF with the clinic, it's been a smooth process thanks to the support and kindness of the team. I appreciated the fact that there was a satellite clinic in Edinburgh which made the journeys easier. A lot at first happens online, which was a bit confusing in the beginning, but ended up making things very straight forward with all the admin bits. Because the team is available at all time to answer questions, I felt very supported. Everything was also perfect during the egg collection. I'd recommend the clinic..

I cannot speak highly enough about GCRM Fertility and the incredible team that supported us throughout our fertility journey. From the moment we walked through the doors, we were treated with compassion, respect, and genuine care. The staff took the time to explain every step of the process, answered all our questions, and provided reassurance during what can be an emotional and overwhelming experience.nnI know some reviews out there might put you off, but I encourage you not to read too much into the negative ones. Every fertility journey is different, and our personal experience with GCRM has been nothing short of amazing..

GCRM have been amazing from start to finish, we were lucky enough to have success with our second round. Their communication is great and are really quick in getting back to you with any queries or concerns. I would like to thank Maureen one of the nurses for always putting me at ease and for making my experience so much nicer. Also Marco for both my transfers and speaking us through everything so thoroughly on our initial consultation. Both staff members where stand out and made out experience so much better. I am now 14 weeks pregnant and couldn’t be happier..
