My wife and I couldn't of loved Dr. Danzer, and his clinical team, any more. After years of unsuccessful IVF attempts we are finally into our 2nd trimester! The appointments are always on time and we are shown love and compassion. A very special shout out to Suzanne Bangis who always stays in communication and helps with all of our needs! Was a patient of Dr Changs last year and when she suddenly left, SCRC pretty much dropped me with no help getting in to see another doctor. After 2 months and several thousands of dollars they couldn’t care less about keeping me as a patient. Had to pay to have my records transferred to my new and far better clinic.nnThis clinic literally treats patients terribly. Communication is terrible, good luck getting anyone on the phone, billing is disorganized and zero empathy for the already emotional rollercoaster that is our IVF treatment.nnThey have also been billing me for $200 for the last 18 months saying that I owe that for 2 20 second conversations I had which only let me know my blood work came back and looks good. I had a manager call me a year ago to say they will take care of it and here I am still getting a bill each month. This place is an absolute joke!.

The office administrators are unfortunately very disorganized, unhelpful, and dishonest. I am always in shock about the logistical problems, lack of accountability, and simple unprofessionalism, and it has made a long process even longer. Each person I had to work with blamed someone in another department, even when they had personally told me they would send an important document and then never did. It's not a responsive organization and I really recommend reading these other reviews; please keep in mind that your experience is mostly determined by the administrators and not the doctors, so no matter how good the doctors are, you can't be taken care of by people who hang up on you, lose your documents, and ignore your emails. I didn't listen before I made my decision and now it is too late. If you look at the site you'll see that doctors are constantly leaving this location, so think about finding great doctors at a place with a great staff.

Although the team at SCRC is great, the embryology clinic they partner with, ART Reproductive, is the absolute worst. No one ever answers the phone and if they do, they don’t know how to help you. They will forward your call to someone’s voicemail who never calls you back. I’m left wondering in anyone actually works there and how it affects the quality of the embryology systems. I’m shocked that SCRC would continue to use them when they can’t rely on them. I’m regretful I had my donor eggs shipped there and wish I would have chosen another clinic.

Our IVF journey with Dr. Danzer and the entire team at SCRC was nothing short of incredible. From start to finish, they made the entire process seamless and smooth sailing, ensuring that we always felt informed, supported, and at ease.nnWhat sets SCRC apart is their holistic, all-in-house approach, which made everything so much more convenient and stress-free. Every visit felt like we were in the best hands – the team was always kind, polite, diligent, efficient, on time and truly a pleasure to be with. I felt comfortable and completely trusted them throughout every step of the journey.nnDr. Danzer, Stephanie, and Mae were especially wonderful –uplifting, reassuring, and always there with warmth and encouragement. Their care made such a lasting impact that I knew I would miss them once we graduated to our OBGYN.nnI genuinely look forward to returning for Baby #2, and I highly recommend SCRC to anyone embarking on their fertility journey. This team is simply the best!

I cannot speak high enough of the staff at the Beverly Hills facility. From the front reception staff in the lab, the lab technicians, the front desk reception in the doctor's main office, to the care coordinators and the doctors - everyone was very helpful and communicative and made this extremely stressful process more manageable. I went through all the services from genetic testing, to egg retrieval, to egg fertilization, to embryo transfer, and, although each case varies, mine were all successful. A big shout out to Dr. Surrey's team of Dr. Miriam, Maria, and Dr. Surrey himself. there is a reason why Dr. Mark Surrey is the leading specialist in this field and I would highly recommend this facility for any of your reproductive needs.
Things to consider when picking a place for fertility treatment: I have learned are not only price, but the communication of the facility and the availability of appointments.

ART and its sister organization SCRC together constitute an extremely disorganized organization. I went through a full round of embryo creation and transfer. The process was fraught with logistical complications that were entirely the result of SCRC/ART's dysfunctional structure. I cannot count the number of times I would hound someone in one department with repeated calls to complete a straightforward next step in our process, only to be told (after extended non-responsiveness) that I should instead be dealing with someone else in the organization. Or when I waited months to complete what should have been a simple step (the transfer of ownership of donated eggs already in SCRC's possession) only to be told that I should have been simultaneously working with a lawyer to establish an independent agreement with the donor - a step that I could have easily completed while waiting months for SCRC to handle its side of the process, but which nobody ever told me needed to happen. (As a side note - they charged around $1,700 just to review the agreement and take the administrative step of changing the ownership of the donated eggs in their system.)

This was the problem - there is no single point of contact to assist you or tell you what to expect in terms of the process or billing. We were navigating in the dark the entire time, constantly being bounced between departments, never knowing what anything would cost, and having repeated requests ignored.

I have since learned there is a VIP tier service. I can only imagine that good reviews are coming from people who enjoyed that level of service. Entry-level patients are ignored and treated as low priority.

I can't express enough how grateful I am for the exceptional care I received from Dr. Alexander. Even though I was a spontaneous pregnancy patient, she made me feel like I was her top priority. Her team is also amazing--always available to answer my questions with super quick responses, even on weekends! Dr. Alexander also always consistently checked in with me personally to ensure I was doing well and reassured me whenever I had concerns. For the first time in my life, I'm really going to miss my weekly visits the doctor's office! Thank you for everything Dr. Alexander and team!

This review is for the SCRC acupuncturist Jennifer Shulman. Jen is one of the most amazing, empathic, and knowledgeable humans I encountered on my fertility journey. I came to her after one failed egg retrieval and she guided me through the next year and a half of my life; all the way to the delivery of my healthy Baby Boy. I love Jen's energy and pragmatic approach. I would recommend Jen to anyone experiencing infertility. I am so lucky she was part of my journey.

This review is long overdue, but because if the emotional toll it took on me I wanted to avoid delving back into that period of time. The place is basically a conveyer belt of hopeful to desperate people and some truly dark doctors who feign sensitivity but are really in it for the bottom line. The second I saw my doctor on reality tv (actually on two shows I can name with several cast members having appointments on camera) my stomach dropped. I hoped it didn't mean he was a Hollywood doctor/cliched star panderer, although that also should have been evident from the office's "VIP room." I suppose I understand, as celebrities might be paranoid that their infertility struggles might be written up, but it's not just a private room with equal amenities It has another waiting room in the back with better seating, lighting, snacks, bottled beverages, and fresh cookies. Yup. Welcome to Hollywood. I obviously didn't think I had to show my doctor my resume, since not only did he neglect to tell me (when we started) that he wouldn't be in town during the final days of stim and retrieval (a doctor I didn't know ended up doing that), but he didn't leave any notes or instructions for his "team" regarding my care... Someone actually tried to give me four times the dose of medication he had prescribed me and it was only because I happened to be paying attention to what she was doing that I stopped her from injecting me, then when she was insisted, I had to find someone else to show her my chart, I don't think that's my job. At that point in the "journey," a wrong dose could not only do extreme physical harm, but it could blow the thousands of dollars I had already thrown at this procedure. Oh yeah, and when I would ask the doctor how much something was going to run (since NONE of this was insured) he had the audacity to say I should "stop thinking about the cost." Oh, ok. Easy for you to say Mr. Bravo.

SCRC is one of the best places to start your fertility journey! Dr, Alexander has been nothing but a DREAM!! She is one of, if not the BEST and most knowledgeable fertility specialists there is! Her nurses and staff have went above and beyond to make this experience one to remember. She is an ANGEL! and the cherry on top, she will succeed in starting a family! We've been so blessed to meet Dr. Alexander and to be under her care!!
