Thanks to their incredible care, we are now proud parents to a beautiful baby who is three weeks old!nnFrom our very first interaction, the environment at Kindbody Los Altos was incredibly calm and welcoming. Every single staff member, from the initial stages of our IVF journey right through to the very end, was exceptionally friendly and supportive.nnDr. Sethuram herself was a beacon of positivity and help throughout this challenging process. We remember our first consultation with her on Zoom, and how she guided us every step of the way. She was consistently there for us, even calling us personally with the wonderful news of my wife's pregnancy. Her dedication and compassion made a difficult journey feel manageable.nnWe wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Sethuram to any couples seeking IVF treatment. Our experience was truly exceptional, and we are forever grateful for the role she and Kindbody played in helping us achieve our dream of becoming parents..

UPDATE: I called customer support when I initially wrote this review, a week ago. The support guy on the phone SWORE that he had personally escalated my case and it would definitely absolutely be resolved by LAST FRIDAY, May 23. I have not been refunded. No one from billing has followed up. This is insane.nImagine dealing with this as you're trying to go through fertility treatment. A NIGHTMARE.nn______nORIGINAL REVIEW:nnUnbelievable.nnI was charged out of pocket for a service that was covered by my insurance and have been trying to claw back my payment from Kindbody for over a month after being notified by my insurance that they actually covered it.nnIt has taken hours of calls at this point, and Kindbody has punted me from one department to another, refusing to give any specifics, and showing no signs of issuing a refund.nnTERRIBLE experience. Considering the costs of fertility treatment, AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE, unless you plan on paying for everything entirely out of pocket.nnThankfully I was just here for some preliminary labs, glad I got out so early on in the process.

UPDATE #2: Today is April 10, 2025, and I finally received a check from Kindbody. Interestingly, the check was issued on April 7—the exact same day I filed a dispute with my credit card company. Worth noting for anyone who may be experiencing similar delays.nnUPDATE #1: I previously posted about Kindbody withholding my $4,900 refund since December 2. On March 12, I spoke with Robert, who was kind, apologetic, and assured me the refund check would be mailed and I should get it within 10-14 days.nnUnfortunately, it’s now April 3 (3 weeks later)— I have not received the check, and there has been no further communication despite my follow-up attempts, two phone calls to Robert.nnThis ongoing lack of transparency and delay is incredibly frustrating and disappointing. I will continue to share updates here until this issue is resolved.nnINITIAL POST: I had an initial appointment at Kindbody in Los Altos, CA, and the staff there were great. I paid $4,900 to start the egg-freezing process but later decided not to move forward. After the recent presidential election, I became uneasy about potential future legal changes around fertility and requested a refund on December 2, 2024.nnIt is now March 10, 2025, and I still have not received my refund. Despite calling or emailing every two weeks, I keep getting the runaround. This has made me question how they handle something as delicate as egg storage if they are this irresponsible with money.nnWhat’s even more concerning is that multiple Kindbody staff members have admitted that refund delays are a common issue for the company. If they do this with payments, I can’t imagine the level of care (or lack thereof) they provide for stored eggs.nnI will never go back or recommend Kindbody to anyone I know. If you’re considering them for fertility services, think twice before trusting them with your money—or your future..

I had a great experience in Kindbody Los Altos. The environment of the clinic is welcoming and cozy, less like a hospital more like a vacation resort. Everyone is kind and responsive whenever I reached out to the team. And most importantly, I appreciate Dr. Westphal and her team’s supreme techniques that helped my family to grow. I highly recommend Dr. Westphal and her team if you are also considering expanding your family via IVF.
