Instead of congratulating me and wishing me well on this HUGE and life changing decision… he asked me the reason I chose the other donor at other agency.. already annoyed, I responded and said “I liked her”. Instead of him stopping there, he followed up again and started talking about his money back guarantee and how they could be a better fit for me… like this was some type of car purchase!nThen I blew up. I won’t share how I responded.nnStay clear of this place. ALL the other agencies I updated, all congratulated me and sent me well wishes. This place is not for you..

I have just completed my third egg donation cycle with Lucina Egg Bank and I have to say I love this team so much! They’ve made me feel so comfortable and cared for throughout the entire process. I have to shoutout Ellen, who made sure to message me daily checking on me, helping me with my medications and always answering any questions I had no matter how late at night. Alisa who was my coordinator did such an amazing job as well, I loved being able to talk to her about any nervousness or concerns I had. She did such an amazing job connecting with me and helping me to feel secure especially through all of my examinations. My nurse Haley! She is a great person to talk with especially when I’m nervous! I love her bubbly personality and I’ve never thought someone could make me feel better about having an IV put in my arm but she definitely helped me overcome it! And Dr. Vu! I definitely enjoyed all of our conversations, he definitely helped me ease out of the anxiety I had before my surgery. My recovery has gone incredibly well I’m on day three and back to walking around and shopping like normal. Thank you so much to this incredible team and I can’t wait to do my fourth donation soon!.

This is my fair and honest review about Lucina Egg Bank. First off, I want to say I know what you are going through reading this and I hope my review helps you.nMy husband and I have been on this journey for a little over a year with more heartache than I’d like to admit. The previous egg bank we used was extremely disappointing so now that we used up all our smart cycles we are paying out of pocket for everything going forward. I made a profile so I could look at the donors. I have to say I’m not a huge fan of the website. It’s not very user friendly in my opinion and I wish there were more filters like blood type and RH positive or negative. With that said, my personal coordinator Khenly was wonderful. I had a decent 20 min conversation with her and asked a bunch of questions. The one that stuck out the most was why most of their Caucasian donors were from Ukraine. Interestingly enough it gives the intended parent(s) a lot more options while still meeting the Caucasian Ethnicity which I found kinda cool. I found out Lucina has an office over seas as well and they don’t outsource any of the medical care for the donors which I really liked. For context we used another Egg bank and out of 12 eggs 11 thawed, 6 fertilized normally 2 made it to blast and 1 passed PGT that was very low quality. I didn’t want to have that experience again. Khenly explained their process picking donors and was able to email me the full profiles along with genetic testing information. I kept this woman BUSY! I probably had at least 10 different profiles I wanted to see over the course of a few days. She was completely on top of it and when our first pick didn’t work with our clinic my husband and I had a back up already selected . Khenly kept in touch with me just about everyday which did feel a little pushy at times but I also understand she has a job to do as well. Every one of my emails were responded to within a couple hours and she had a phone number I could text or call directly to her which was a huge bonus. I really did feel like she was there for me throughout the entire process. Payment was super easy and I was given a receipt via email. I will update once the eggs are fertilized. This was my personal experience and my opinions only.nnUPDATEnOut of 6 eggs, 5 thawed and all 5 fertilized. 2 made it to blast, 1 mosaic, and one fully hatched BEAUTIFUL BB embryo. I am currently pregnant with that embryo. Thank you Lucina for making my dreams come true.
