I cannot say enough good things about the San Diego Fertility Center! From the moment you walk in, the cleanliness and charm of the space stand out. One of my favorite aspects is being able to see the cryo machines and watch the embryologists at work through a window—it’s such a fascinating and reassuring experience.\n\nDr. Park is absolutely incredible. She takes the time to explain every step of the process in detail and shows genuine empathy and compassion throughout the journey. You never feel like just a number; she truly cares about her patients.\n\nCommunication is key when navigating IVF, and the entire team excels at it. Everyone is so kind, attentive, and quick to respond to any concerns or questions, no matter how small.\n\nIVF can be a challenging journey, but the staff at San Diego Fertility Center made mine as seamless as possible. Every question I had—yes, even the “dumb” ones—was answered with patience and thoroughness.\n\nI am so grateful to have chosen the San Diego Fertility Center and Dr. Park to help me grow my family. I couldn’t be happier with my experience!.

Dr. Flores was excellent with every aspect of our IVF journey. From the initial consultation, she made my wife and I feel at ease with the whole process. She made it easy to understand and what to expect throughout the entire process. Throughout, she made sure to give us pros and cons of each decision we needed to make and guided us to the best possible route. Her team and everyone we interacted with at San Diego Fertility Center were nothing but incredible and welcoming to us. We are very grateful to Dr. Flores, her team and everyone at SDFC and cannot recommend them enough.

The staff and doctors are absolutely amazing! The facility itself is absolutely gorgeous! Every time I stepped foot into the office I’ve always felt nothing but comfort and amazing attitudes amongst the staff.. they are so informative and reassuring. I’ve had the best experience with them. I am a gestational carrier and was so lucky to be assigned to SDFC.

Egg freezing can be a daunting experience to consider. As someone who is type A, organized and likes to know everything upfront, I had been wanting to do it for over a year but felt overwhelmed by the amounts of information everywhere.\n\nI would suggest NOT to read all the stories online and information from peers/friends (take it all with a grain of salt) and just come in to get your information direct from the source. I highly recommend doing a consultation in person, too. I had met with the team virtually but once I sat down in the office, a lot more clicked and it really helped me understand everything end to end.\n\nThe team has been incredibly helpful and patient as I have gone back and forth. Dr. Friedman also knew I was struggling with going through with it because I kept psyching myself out, but she made time for me to come in to talk about it again.\n\nOnce the process starts, know that there is SO much more clarity provided through training videos, calendars, and other resources as things begin so it will all come together!\n\nWhile I wish SDFC had a patient portal, and I do think there is an opportunity to pull together more of a pamphlet for egg freezing that gives you a full idea of the end-to-end experience upfront, timelines, pictures, and even a mock up calendar type visuals (and for those who are type A like me - maybe even some videos walking through it all) it's been a very, very good experience. And I have shared with many friends my personal experience and support from SDFC, and can say many of them have not had what I have been getting.\n\nDr. Friedman, Irene, and the entire staff have been quick in answering any questions I've had. Thank you, Dr. Friedman and Irene!.

I can honestly say that without Dr.Flores I am not sure if I would be pregnant today! She is an absolute earth angel!
I found SD Fertility Center after receiving a diagnosis of the rare condition, Ashermans. We were unsure of how severe but we knew there was so much scar tissue that my menstrual cycle had completely stopped and a saline sonogram catheter was met with what seemed like a brick wall for a cervix. I did my research and tried to find the most qualified doctor. I decided to meet Dr.Flores because of her noted clinical interest in Ashermans. If you have had the misfortune of having Ashermans you know that the treatment must be done by a seasoned professional who knows what they are doing , as often more harm and damage can be done.
When my husband and I met Dr.Flores she LISTENED. She explained in great details how in the world this 3% chance could have happened to me, and how it ranges in severity. She also shared her clinical trials to cure Ashermans and the work/ studying she had done around uterine lining rehabilitation. The amount of comfort I had just sitting her office brought me to tears. After 4 months of awful pain, heart aches from miscarriage, and feeling like I was a freak of nature were suddenly restored with hope. We scheduled my Hysteroscopy and came up with a plan.
Zaina the MA was always so attentive and quick to respond with any questions I had while awaiting my procedure date; she was so caring and sweet as well!
My procedure went flawlessly! The entire team on the floor had such an upbeat and optimistic vibe. They made sure that I felt comfortable, had all questions answered and most importantly assisted in ONE skilled and relatively painless HSC to remove my scar tissue and ensure that my cervix and uterus were healthy and healing.
After my procedure Dr.Flores made sure that I was feeling ok and that I understood all that was found , as well as next steps on our journey. She also personally called me twice after my surgery to check in! I have never felt more cared for by a doctor!
I would absolutely recommend SD Fertility Center and am so exciting to be writing this review 12 weeks pregnant, all thanks to Dr.Flores!
I will give one piece of warning: the billing department sucks. There's just no kind way to put it. I won't name names, but the representative that helped me insisted I didn't have insurance - I did. I actually had health and fertility insurance so either would have fully covered the procedure. Once that was ironed out , I was incorrectly billed a pre charge because the same person didn't confirm with my insurance that I had already maxed my out of pocket. This was extremely frustrating because it delayed my procedure, as billing must be set up first. After the procedure I was overcharged by almost $2,000 , by the same person. I was also billed for the entirely wrong procedure. It took months to iron out once management stepped in, and thankfully they did as they were much more competent!
Overall: amazing clinic, amazing doctors who will do anything to help you get that baby! But the billing department just ask for management straight away!

I truly wish I had done my research into this place and read the reviews! This place was attentive during the initial interaction, but anything after that was horrible. I was given a list to complete with no guidance, and when I called, there wasn't even an option to leave a message for my actual doctor. There were a lot of other names, but I couldn't get ahold of her or her assistant unless I emailed multiple times. I felt they were giving me extra tasks to complete to even begin the process, which made us wait even longer for the actual procedures. We went the route of IUI and completed/failed 4 attempts. After EACH ONE i never heard from the Dr. or her assistant to let me know or offer next steps or anything for that matter! I would have to email and hope they get back to me in time to schedule my next IUI. I asked to speak to the Dr. to go over a couple things or just get any feedback and it would take forever to get a call. Once on one of the zoom calls/phone call my Dr. was not attentive and was doing other household tasks while on the phone with me. I had to go between 2 offices that are not even remotely close to each other and schedule with two different places. One front desk would tell me one thing and when I got to the other location the front desk would tell me another. I feel like this whole process was a waste of time and money!! We wasted a whole year trying to figure out our options only to be strung along by them. After my last IUI I never got a follow up call/email anything and it has been almost 3 months. They dont care about you unless you are spending money or eventually spending more money for IVF. From day one we felt overlooked and we gave them too much of our time/money. DO NOT GO HERE!

Dr. Park is the best fertility doctor, and she helped us fulfill our dream of building our family. SDFC is the best; all the staff members are so professional, keeping us informed at every step and explaining everything so patiently. Although our first transfer was not successful, Dr. Park arranged a Zoom call to discuss it with us and explained everything in detail. She also encouraged us to stay positive, which is crucial in the IVF process. Their IVF success rate is actually 71%, according to the CDC, which is quite high. We then decided to have a second transfer about three months later, giving our surrogate enough time to recover, and it was a successful one--our surrogate was pregnant in July 2024. Last week, we welcomed our son into the world, and now he's 9 days old. We are enjoying every moment of having him in our family.
Thank you, Dr. Park, and the entire SDFC team, for helping make our dreams of becoming gay parents come true. Highly recommended!

I wanted to like this place since Drs were very good but the administrative negligence is unacceptable/harmful to patients. Despite multiple emails saying my insurance covered my treatment and multiple phone calls to triple confirm before wasting any ones time, only after I had come out of pocket $ for medication I got a canned email from admin saying my insurance was now not accepted. I understand the insurance landscape is complicated but the administrative oversights at this institution need to be known since they would allow a patient to take UNCESSEARY HORMONES and despite urgent emails to advise if I should keep taking medication, no response.

We had a great experience here at SDFC.
With an egg donor selected by SDFC, we luckily got six embryos.
And now our first child is born on feb. 8 2025.
Everybody here took care of us and the surrogate, we had all the information we needed. And many thanks to Dr. Park who is awesome, explained everything to us and was always reachable (even sending emails during holidays and nights !)

I can't say enough good things about SDFC. After going through 3 rounds of IVF, I can honestly say that their care and professionalism made all the difference. When you start this journey, you have no idea how long it will take or how much you'll rely on the clinic and its staff, but SDFC has been outstanding every step of the way.
From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with a warm smile at the front desk, and that sets the tone for the entire visit. The team really makes you feel cared for--whether it's the nurses drawing blood, the staff guiding you through ultrasounds, or the doctors explaining everything in detail. Everyone is genuinely compassionate and attentive, which means a lot when you're going through something so emotionally and physically taxing.

My husband and I want to give a HUGE shout out to SDFC, specifically Dr. Park and her team for their time and effort put into our second journey and allowing us the gift of growing our family further. We have received nothing but the top tier of service and care while working with SDFC and we are truly indebted to them. Both of our children would not be here today without them and we couldn't be more thankful. Communication was nothing short of excellent and what really made it special was the level of care they showed us during this whole process as it is quite intimate, growing one's family. We couldn't be more excited to consider SDFC an extension of our family and highly recommend them to everyone out there looking to grow their family.

Please do your research and weigh out your options.
Infertility is a stressor within itself I feel SDFC robbed us of our time and money.
Both my wife and I had over 25 eggs each in 3 different cycles. Out of roughly 75+ only 4 embryos. None of which resulted in a positive pregnancy. We are both healthy women (under 35) with high egg count and our donor had over 5 positive pregnancies.
SDFC's lab or embryologist needs some reevaluation. We had other specialists review our medical records and are astonished by the treatment of this facility and this outcome.
We just had a successful IVF outcome with triple the numbers. Find another fertility center that truly cares about patients and their families, most importantly with an excellent LAB.
