My provider is great. However, the front desk, telephone systems, and portal leave quite a bit to be desired, which impacts my care and communication with my provider. The front desk never answers the phone, the telephone automated system loops and then disconnects the call, and even though the automated system mentions "for faster results, communicate with your provider through the portal," I still do not get timely feedback ( > a week to respond). All of this hasn't just happened once but repetitively since I've been a patient.nnEDIT, based on clinic feedback to this review. Even since you've responded, I've continued to receive the same terrible service. Responding to a review with a positive statement of intent, isn't enough. You don't have the follow through to actually fix the problem. Ugh!nnFor patients or potential patients reading these reviews, note that there is a very similar theme amongst the lowest of reviews. This happens with more than just one patient. They aren't addressing the issues.

I was never a patient because the wait was so long. I emailed forms to be a patient min-January and the emailed me asking to be a patient 3rd week of April (3.5 months!) just for them to call and schedule an appointment. They also had poor communication about what was missing in the forms (only that they were incomplete). WHY ARE THEY STILL DOING PAPER - THIS IS SO SLOW/INCONVENIENT! I went with Spring Fertility in Portland and they are AMAZING and I got an appointment in 3 weeks & had IUI the next cycle! However, if you do not have insurance coverage (or poor coverage) save yourself TIME and $$$ by using CNY (it is all over the forums)..

Dr. Austin and his team are the reason my husband is on his way to better health and might have an opportunity at having his first child.nnIf you read my other reviews, especially as it is to do with local primary care options - please heed my warnings! If left to local primary care options - of which my husband and I have struggled with two… I mean it with all my heart that this specialist is worth his salt and deserves all the praises.nnDr. Austin’s team and their instructions for my husband have never been lacking to the extent neither of us have ever been denied a test (minus struggling to stay still in the MRI machine)… and it’s obvious Dr. Austin and his entire team cares about his patients. Especially those men who come to him that are extraordinarily unwell.nnFor us, seeing Dr. Austin wasn’t just a chance at having a baby my husband hasn’t been gifted. But at keeping my husband alive, with quality of life; and continues to be, as we struggle to acquire appropriate primary care - Dr. Austin empowers his patients to recognize we deserve to be treated and cared for and I continue to be so grateful for his current care of my husband -nnAll offices could learn a lot from Dr. Austin and his team - thank you for caring about us, and going the extra mile STILL, even when our insurance made things tricky… you all saw sickness and jumped to action.nnHe and I are so so grateful. And this is aside from not having conceived yet - and maybe not ever as we are getting older - but giving him the opportunity to try, now, while there IS still time… and ALSO not be sick (the effects of low testosterone atrophy the male physique, corrupt the sperm, and cause decreased life expectancy). Just the idea of having the chance to try not being robbed from him in the name of wellness… the intricacies are so nuanced and Dr. Austin slays it - giving my husband a chance at a legacy but most importantly, a quality of life.nnThank you. Thank you. Thank you..

Have been going for almost a year now. Communication is lacking, you have to call about twice on average to get a call back on anything other than day 1 cycle info. We had to dig for more info, nothing was just offered up about options, what things mean, what the next steps might be etc. . We have to call multiple times to receive info about tests etc. They never call us with those results. The people in the office are nice. And the nurse practitioners are usually great. It's just quite frustrating that this is the only game in town and we have zero results, no answers and don't even know what options we have..

Dr. Austin and his staff are amazing. I’ve never felt more cared for by any other office. Definitely a place that makes you feel understood. Everyone in the office from the business side, receptionist, & nurses all show empathy to your situation. After 7 years of infertility thanks to them and IVF I have my sweet baby boy. I would recommend them to anyone dealing with infertility.
