I had a wonderful experience at my appointment at the fertility clinic. My nurse practitioner was incredibly welcoming, thorough, and spoke to me with genuine care. She made me feel like a person, not just a patient, and took the time to address all of my needs while clearly explaining everything. She was not only very informative but also incredibly kind.nnThe phlebotomist who did my blood work was just as lovely—gentle, professional, and kind-hearted. The entire office was clean and inviting, and the front desk staff were super sweet and helpful.nnOverall, I felt truly heard, seen, and cared for. I feel comforted and confident going there for my PCOS and fertility concerns, knowing I’m in such compassionate hands.

I was previously a patient here and wouldn’t wish the experience on anyone. The doctors are great, but nearly impossible to reach directly. The real issue is staff communication. There is none. Calls go unanswered, messages through their app portal can take a full business day or more, and responses are generic. We’ve had to physically go to the office just to speak with someone.nnDuring IVF, this lack of communication is especially stressful. I missed a cycle day due to a pharmacy error, and when I reached out immediately, I was told I had to wait until the next month essentially skipping a cycle despite the medication being available at another local pharmacy. Only on my second cycle did I find out they could’ve helped, if the right nurse had answered.nnEven after triple-checking everything the second time, I was told after starting injections that I was missing a medication never mentioned in my protocol. While panicking at the airport, I was once again told to cancel the cycle. I had to fight for a solution, spend hours on the phone, and push for an urgent overnight delivery myself. It was a nightmare.nnThey charge a non-refundable $750 cycle coordination fee each cycle, yet provide almost no coordination. I wasn’t even contacted about the outcome of my second cycle, just a message weeks later saying all embryos were abnormal only after I had to reach out for an update. No explanation. No empathy.nnFollow-ups are slow, which is frustrating when you’re trying to time things with your cycle. If I hadn’t already frozen embryos here, I would’ve gone elsewhere.nnWe thankfully had a successful transfer and are no longer involved with RBA. Yet, I’m still receiving bills from last year. My coworker even got billed 1.5 years after her child was born.nnTo RBA: Your doctors may be excellent, but your communication and staff coordination are absolutely unacceptable. Patients deserve to speak with humans, not chase care through an app

I cannot speak more highly of Reproductive Biology Associates.nnThey have 1 portal that has everything you need to begin, continue, and finish your journey. The ability to email my team at any time and have response within a few hours is truly extraordinary.nnOn the day of the actual procedure everyone was wonderful! The nurse came in and explained the whole procedure. The anaesthesiologist came in and asked me questions about my history and explained the type of sedation they used. She made sure I was fine with it and asked if I wanted to change anything with the medicine in my IV. I love that personal attention to detail. Then the doctor came in and explained what he was going to do. He allowed me to ask questions and answered all of them very clearly.nnAfter the procedure, the doctor came back in to let me know how it went and how many eggs they were able to retrieve.nnI love that each person I saw asked if I was allergic to something (double checking my chart). I am impressed with the amount of care and attention to detail every single person on the staff showed me.nnAs a person with anxiety, I was nervous about this procedure. However, their patience, their explanations, and their attention to detail, made me comfortable and at ease.nnI felt like I was 100% taken care from the moment I first called them to the time that they helped me into my car, after the procedure..

I cannot say enough positive things about Dr. Shapiro and his staff. I have never felt more comfortable during a doctor’s visit before. Not only is Dr. Shapiro brilliant, but he and his staff are personable and warm, and they are ON TOP of their game! Dr. Shapiro spent plenty of time with my husband and me during our initial visit- we never felt rushed. He provided thorough, detailed explanations about the treatment options and didn’t leave any of our questions unanswered. Very importantly, while he was incredibly compassionate, he was also honest and made sure that we left the visit with realistic expectations. Dr. Shapiro restored hope in me and he has made me look forward to the future again after dealing with a tragic loss. Thank you, Dr. Shapiro and each member of his staff!.
