Dr Blohm is amazing. He and his staff have the best interest of the patient in mind always, and they are very transparent about which process is going to be the best fit for each patient. It’s a very trust the process kind of situation so it was important for me to know what my odds were going into it. Dr. Blohm can sometimes come across as vague but he really truly cares for the patient and gives his all to get you to your end goal. I have never met a more dedicated medical provider who is willing to work 7 days a week for his patients. His staff is equally amazing and I never would have survived the fertility process without them.nnWithout Dr. Blohm and his staff my twins wouldn’t be here. We won’t ever forget the ups, downs, and unwavering support from GCRM.nnThank you all so much!.

Dr. Blohm is the only reason we have our daughter! To be very clear, I was terrified of the reviews. I was worried he would take one look at me and say I weigh too much and he can’t help me. I was a wreck leading up to my first appointment. With all that said, never once was weight mentioned. I wasn’t ever even weighed at my appointments. He ran his tests, explained very precisely our options and we made a plan together. One IUI and we got pregnant and our perfect daughter is 7 months old now! We owe it all to this doctor and office. I never felt like Dr. Blohm was rude or “mean” and he was actually kind of funny in his own way. He’s a very kind man and incredibly intelligent. Definitely don’t let the reviews hold you back 🫶🏻.

I’ve seen Dr. Blohm on 2 separate occasions and his advice is to the point which I appreciate. We did one round of IVF with them and now have a beautiful 17 month old boy now because of him and his staff. In my experience the staff were never rude and they took care of all of our needs.nI can see if you’re thin skinned however... you could take offense at their directness. When is comes to getting what you want (IE a healthy and expeditious pregnancy) you should check your emotions at the door and get down to business. This office is the way to go! We couldn’t be happier.

If you are exploring RE's in the Savannah area, please don't go on my review only- ask around, look at other review sites.
After 3 yrs of secondary infertility in November of 2014, my PCM referred me to Dr. Blohm's office. It was March before there was an open consultation appointment. When we met with him, it almost seemed that he believed we didn't have an issue- despite us trying to conceive for 3 yrs (Minus a 9 month deployment) and one miscarriage. He said he thought if we left things alone for 6-12 months I'd end up pregnant. I didn't think so, so we went ahead and made another appointment. Well sure enough, that very cycle I ended up pregnant- but in similar fashion to my previous pregnancy, I didn't make it past 6 wks. So they we had to take a month off to give my body a chance to heal. When that month was over, we called to make an HSG appointment- well they were all full when it was possible to do it- so there was another 2 months of waiting.
Finally got the HSG done in June. It hurt like hell, way more than it's suppose to but I wasn't given any answer to why- just that it was clear- which he hurriedly told me while I was still trying to compose myself.
Due to a vacation in July and the husband having field training part of August and Sept, we weren't able to do an injectable cycle until October (almost a year from the original referral). We are unexplained infertility and beyond a sperm analysis and HSG. When I ask about egg reserve he just kept muttering "I have what I need, I have what I need, I have what I need". Well I wasn't asking him if he had what HE needed, I wanted to know if I have what I need to continue this journey a couple more years or should I start looking into more serious measures. He also argued with me about when my last miscarriage had been- what a slap in the face, especially since I'd been under his office's care at the time and had to go get blood drawn multiple times to ensure my levels were dropping properly.
He has zero bedside manner- and I'm fine with that. I'm not the most personable person myself. Blohm is good at what he does IF he knows your issues. But if you're unexplained- he doesn't care to dig deeper to see what's going on- I never had any tests run beyond estradiol and progesterone. Given the issues Thyroid and Vitamin D, among other things play in the role of fertility, one would think he would tests for those- but nope! He also informed us at the first appoint an IUI would be covered by my insurance- then after getting our hopes up, we found out no, it actually wasn't.
My one round of injectables had less than a 2% chance of ending in a live baby. With those odds, I was just not comfortable continuing to pay for and inject drugs into my body.
So if you have PCOS and just need help ovulating, or know you need IVF, he's great. But if you're a mystery-find someone else.
