The staff is extremely friendly and understanding ! It was quick and super easy, they also answer any questions as long as you ask. Definitely would recommend this clinic to friends if they need it.

Came in for my appointment at 9:30am for an abortion follow up Which I got in December. I called to make an appointment for an abortion follow up in which I had to speak with a manger for them to book the appointment. While booking the appointment I explained to the site manager that I was still experiencing some bleeding from the procedure that I went under. She informed me that I at the follow up appointment I would be examined to see if I was experiencing any blood clots from the procedure. I get to my appointment at 9:30am didn’t get seen until 10:20am which is way too long for a follow up appointment. Mind you it wasn’t busy at all. Maybe about 3 people that can in after me had been called before me. I finally was called and left urine. Then of of the medical assistants came into the room to explain to me that the appointment was to far out from the date that I had gotten the procedure which g was December 14th and that the bleeding may be caused by another infection which she wasn’t able to see me for because the day that my appointment was on was for abortions only and I’ll have to be scheduled another appointment to be examined for the infection. Then called another lady into the room to explain to me that the bleeding could be coming from somewhere else all of this and never was examined so I mentioned I was seen for my primary check up and got bloodwork and everything done and everything was normal. She mentioned that I may have an infection that I wasn’t able to be seen for. Overall the service sucked I’ve never been so unsatisfied in life asking for service to help me from them same people I could have possibly been giving an infection from. I will never ever ever go to another PPH AGAIN IN MY LIFE. I also will be getting a lawyer for this matter as well. Being that everything is recorded and I was offered to be walked out instead of HELPED.

I don’t usually write reviews but I visited this location yesterday and was so relieved by how kind the entire staff was. I had an early appointment (8:30) and was out the door by 11:30. I was terrified about how this experience would go- and didn’t want to be scarred from it. If you are on the fence on where to go for this procedure just go here- they take care of you, communicate everything every step of the way, and let your partner or guest stay with you through the procedure. I opted for general anesthesia and also had an IUD implanted and I vaguely remember any of it. I was expecting the worst and was pleasantly surprised by how seamless things went. I’m feeling completely fine today (only had light cramping yesterday). Can’t recommend this location and the staff enough

Well...That did NOT go as planned.
First, I check in and sit next to a sweet old lady who is there to "support the young folks." Lovely. Except she loudly starts telling me about how "back in her day," condoms were made out of who knows what and "pulling out was just called good timing." Great.
Then, my name is called, but instead of going to the exam room, I somehow end up in a prenatal class. A nurse is enthusiastically handing me pamphlets about pregnancy nutrition while I awkwardly whisper, "Uh, I think there's been a mix-up." The instructor just smiles and says, "No judgment, honey. We all get scared at first."
After FINALLY getting redirected, I meet the doctor--who, bless her soul, is the most cheerful person I've ever encountered. She starts explaining IUDs using a sock puppet. A SOCK PUPPET. I am sitting there, trying to process my life choices, while a googly-eyed piece of fabric named Miss Copper Coil tells me about long-term contraception.
Just when I think the chaos is over, the fire alarm goes off. Half-dressed patients in paper gowns are running into the hallway, the old lady from the waiting room is leading an impromptu prayer circle, and someone shouts, "WHO MICROWAVED A TAMPON?!"
Would I come back? Hell no.

The staff is mostly kind and accommodating.\nIt seems like they try, however most of the time when I’m here, the wait is long, and I see a bunch of providers sitting around talking to each other, not working.\nIt’s not exactly comforting with such long wait times.\n\nMy medication was also sent to the wrong pharmacy, (after I confirmed I the pharmacy I wanted it sent to) and when I finally got a hold of someone to correct the mistake she said it could take up to three business days, it (thankfully) was faster than that, but it left a terrible impression..

Went in with a friend of mine to get a procedure done where she would be sedated and everything was cool at first. The employees was polite and the facility seemed modern.
As we entered the procedure room, I noticed that the garbage was over flowing. I mentioned it to the person that walked us in and she said she'll talk to someone. A short young Hispanic lady, she said her name was Mar, came in and told me that since the garbage was "non-hazardous" that they weren't going to change it. Appalled I said "ok, well I'll change it myself". She raised her voice at me as I was grabbing gloves saying " you have to leave, you have to leave" and I politely ignored her as I changed the garbage. She opens the door to the hall while my friend is partially undressed yelling for assistance. I calmly walk out as about 10 people surrounded me and explained what was going on. A young black girl apologized and took the garbage from me to put it away.
The manager and I went to talk in the waiting room and she also apologized. I went back into the room and the procedure commenced.
All in all, Mar was unprofessional and caused an unnecessary scene at a time where people need the most comfort. The facility needs better management and should never have trash from previous patients overflowing in a procedure room when a new patient walks in. I will never allow anyone I care about to go to this facility again

The best place to go for all of your health needs - everyone is beyond amazing here! Kiana at the front is so kind and helpful, along with Margaret (forgive me if I spelled her name wrong). She knows just what to say and how to help with easing your nerves. There were protestors but they're quite peaceful and don't bother you which is highly surprising and didn't make me feel uncomfortable walking in and out.
I'm a low income collage student, and PP works with my insurance in figuring out the best payment option as well as making sure my insurance can cover anything before continuing my appointments. Teresa helped me in easing my mind and treating me with so much respect and listening to me - the patient! Not just rambling on like so many other doctors and receptionists do at other doctors offices I've been to that aren't associated with PP.
God bless Planned Parenthood and all that you do!

If you never been to planned parenthood, one of the most safest, caring and feeling protective as an female clinic. I thought planned parenthood was not important as much. I was totally wrong, this is an eye opener. Planned parenthood is awesome they do protect your gender and identity. The staff like most clinic are rude, however coming here, the staff and the nurses and APN are super welcoming and very friendly. There is no discrimination or anything from planned parenthood.
Make the appointment on online it's important. Once that, you have to make a phone call to a specific number you have to fill the forms. Then another phone comes in, which you would wait in your car like 15 to 20 min. After that you are taken inside, and make sure you agree to there policy. If you do have insurance the can make a copy from the physical or the one on your phone too.
The nurse, APN and everyone there is so friendly and welcoming. If you got questions or concerns do not hesitate to ask any questions. They will answer everything that's on your mind.

Okay 5 years later I still cannot believe I wrote this review so 5 years ago I waited about 45 min for the doctor to come see me so I got a little curious bored started walking around and saw a white bin on the floor opened it up and it was the metal speculum sitting on water I'm like ohhh doctors comes in does the pap puts back on the bin leaves I dress I'm like ew WTF I'm still cringing really hope they switched to disposable ones

I'll preface this post by saying I'm a low-income woman who is currently a college student, in between jobs, and lacks health insurance.
I arrived at the Aurora location a little weary that I would be spending the last of my savings on my appointment on the Family Planning side. When I was addressed about payment at reception, I did not have to say much for their receptionist Carla to understand that payment was going to be extremely difficult for me. Due to my income, she was able to waive my visit fees and was compassionate. Did you know that PPIL can also help you find healthcare? Because I sure didn't!
After that difficult obstacle had been tackled with tremendous ease, I continued the rest of my appointment with Teresa. I explained to her my situation and got very emotional about it. Not only did she comfort me with a couple of tissues and a hug, but she was also very knowledgeable about my situation. She was able to pull up my charts and lay out the odds and facts that I truly needed to think clearly and positively about the situation thrown at me. I could not have asked for better bedside manner.
In conclusion, Planned Parenthood is here for EVERYONE. They're not exclusive to those who can afford it and you are not a heathin/sinner if you need medical attention. If anyone is out there doing "God's Work" it's truly the staff over Planned Parenthood Aurora. Thank you for all that you do for everybody that enters your facility.

Went in to get my birth control renewed because I'm completely out. After I was done the lady at the desk said it should be ready for pick up in an hour. The next day I went to pick up my birth control from my pharmacy and they said they're still waiting to hear back from the doctor... They are closed for the rest of the day and tomorrow so it looks like I won't be getting my prescription great......

I was told this was the perfect place to help me with my bc t was my only option at the time. I was told they help out people with loud income. When I told them about my situation they still told me t was only way they would even check on me is paying $100+ while my friend don't pay anything. I ended up just giving up cuz I couldn't pay and I couldn't get help. Plus seriously those protesters I know is not their fault but those abortion protester had one jump in front of my car and yelled at me. Dude I was just looking for birthcontrol and I got attacked by a protester I got scared and never came back.
