Awful- been waiting DAYS for someone to call me back, have absolutely no luck from getting in touch with anyone, my process is significantly delayed, and I am BEYOND frustrated. Absolutely would not recommend. I understand they may have a large patient volume, but for a company taking care of vulnerable individuals in one of the hardest experiences of their lives, this is horrific.

Review of Boston IVF from Mermaid T.

When you start reading reviews for IVF clinics--especially larger ones like Boston IVF--you'll see everything from glowing five stars to stories of heartbreak. After going through it myself, I've learned that it's not really about the clinic itself. It's 100% about the team you work with. And if you're lucky enough to work with Dr. Emily Seidler and her incredible team then you've found the gold standard.

We had a really difficult start at Boston IVF and came close to switching clinics entirely. The care we first received was impersonal and left us feeling completely lost. At first, we thought we could tolerate that if it got results--but over time, we realized our specific needs, questions, and goals weren't even being considered. The doctor was focused on what they assumed we wanted, rather than actually listening and working with us to maximize our outcomes.

And then we met Dr. Seidler--and everything changed.

Dr. Seidler is one of those incredibly rare people who is both deeply brilliant and genuinely kind. She doesn't just follow a set protocol--she pays attention. And I mean, really pays attention. When I did my first egg retrieval under a different doctor, we ended up with 7 eggs--and a massive insurance headache. We felt completely failed by the system.

Then we met Dr. Seidler. She took the time to understand us--our goals, our history, our insurance limitations--and helped us make smart, thoughtful decisions that were truly in our best interest. Under her care, my next retrieval produced 22 eggs. That wasn't luck--that was her tracking how my body was responding and adjusting the protocol with care and precision. She stayed engaged, curious, and genuinely invested. She noticed things. She remembered things. She made us feel like we actually mattered--not just as patients, but as people. That kind of brilliance and humanity in one person? It's honestly a unicorn-level combo.

And then there's Robin and Nikki, the two amazing nurses who make up the rest of this dream team. These women are absolute rocks. IVF is emotional, confusing, and full of logistical twists and turns, and they helped us navigate all of it with so much grace, clarity, and PATIENCE. They fielded every voicemail, email, and question (and yes, I had many!), and always responded with such kindness and patience, like I wasn't being overwhelming--even when I 100% was. Their kindness didn't come from a script--it came from presence. From actual care. And you can feel the difference.

And speaking of people who made all the difference--let me tell you about Mo. Monique Lochard, the financial coordinator, is nothing short of a behind-the-scenes hero. The insurance side of IVF is its own mountain to climb, and Mo is the steady, fierce, compassionate guide who helps you summit it without losing your mind (or your hope).

From the very beginning, Mo was on our side--advocating, explaining, coordinating, and cheering us on. She took one of the most stressful parts of this process and made it feel manageable. Not only did she work tirelessly to make sure our coverage was lined up, our paperwork was in order, and our timelines were met--she also infused the whole process with an unexpected warmth, like little bursts of sunshine arriving in our inbox when we needed them most.

Mo has a way of making you feel like you matter--not just your account number or your billing cycle, but you. She never treated this like a job. She treated it like a calling. And I genuinely believe our little one felt her energy carrying us through, every step of the way.

Mo, if you're reading this: thank you for everything. You've etched yourself into the story of our family, and we are forever grateful for your brilliance, your heart, and your unwavering support. You moved mountains for us. And we'll never forget it.

Thanks to this team, I felt supported, seen, and in incredibly capable hands at every stage. Their combination of expertise, compassion, and steadiness helped me stay grounded through a process that is anything but predictable. They didn't just guide me through treatment--they held me through it, with so much heart.

And now, after three egg retrievals and three embryo transfers, I'm sitting here, 20 weeks pregnant, feeling this little baby kicking (!!) as I type--and the gratitude I feel is hard to put into words. I know I will carry this team's impact with me for the rest of my life. Dr. Seidler, Robin, Nikki, and Mo didn't just help us get here--they gave us the gift of feeling truly cared for in the most vulnerable moments. I will never forget what they've done for our family.

If you're wondering whether Boston IVF is right for you--my honest advice is this: don't just look at the clinic, look at who you'll be working with. The right team makes all the difference. And with Dr. Seidler and her team, you'll be in the best possible hands. Their care changed everything for us.

Review of Boston IVF from Elle L.

Note that the response to every one/two star review from the team is the same - they want it to seem like they're attentive but they are not actually engaging with any of the feedback. This is a perfect example of how they treat patients. Bummer.

Dr Kerri Luzzo helped assist us with Ivf for our miracle baby boy Tommy. After trying for years and no luck I finally had my prayers answered. This feels better than winning the lottery. I truly thought I would never be a mom and here I am.
The only negative thing I have to say is the communication but this was over a year ago when I last dealt with them, so things could have changed. You just have to stay on top of them

Review of Boston IVF from Kawinthi F.

My husband and I sought Boston IVF, knowing they had the best statistics for successful IVF pregnancies in the area. We had been trying on our own for 2 years, and experienced 2 miscarriages, so felt it was time to explore IVF.

We were extremely excited and hopeful, but the experience was terrible from the start. To this day, 1 year later, we have never met our doctor, NP, or nursing team in-person. When we started with testing (~3 months after our initial nurse televisit), they tested both of our blood, and my husband's sperm. After my husband provided two blood and two sperm samples (driving over an hour each time), they then decided to inform us that insurance would not cover IVF if there were any traces of nicotine. My husband is not a smoker, but a zyn-user, and had he known this from the onset, he would have stopped when we had our initial nurse visit... No one had informed us of any insurance parameters. We never met with anyone that explained how the process would go. So now, we had to re-test, and wait for a new authorization go through, waiting another 2 cycles.

Once we were finally approved for an IVF cycle, they called to tell us that we should coordinate with our specialty pharmacy for drug delivery. The day the medications were delivered, we received a giant box with meds / syringes / supplies, and had no idea how to use any of it. They told us a nurse would call on the day the meds were scheduled to be delivered, however, all we received was a voicemail that told us what doses of each med to take, and when. We never received any instruction on how to use a syringe, or how to administer any of the drugs... thank god my mother in law is a nurse, and was able to walk us through the first night of medications.

For any questions we had along the way, we needed to call, leave a voicemail, and pray that we would be available when they called back, or we would continue to play the voicemail game. Terrible system for this high-need patient population.

1 week into my IVF cycle, they had wanted me to come in for blood testing on a specific day, but I had planned to be away that weekend, and I asked if I could come in the day before. I was scolded by the nurse, and told that I shouldn't be planning any travel during my IVF cycle.... but this was my very first IVF cycle, and no one explained this rule or expectation to me, or what to expect during the cycle at all. I was going in blind, and relied heavily on the scant voicemails the nurses would leave every 2-3 days.

My first fresh transfer did not take, so we tried again with a frozen embryo transfer. This one was successful. I had one ultrasound to confirm heartbeat at 7.5 weeks. They then told me I was "graduated" from the IVF clinic, and should make an appt with my regular OB... this is the first time I am pregnant, so my first OB appt isn't for a few weeks. They told me if I had any questions until I saw a regular OB, I could call in. Well, I had a terrible fall today that scared me, and I called Boston IVF for guidance / reassurance (left a voicemail), and the nurse that called me back said they could no longer advise me, and that I should call my OB... even though I haven't seen a regular OB yet... I asked if there was any reassurance she could give me, any signs to look for of concerning symptoms, and she point blank said "I cannot advise on this, as I am not the most qualified" ...I doubt my Boston IVF records have even gone to my OB yet, so in my mind... if she is not qualified now, were they ever qualified? What kind of response is this to an anxious woman in early pregnancy who has had 2 miscarriages before???? Absolutely awful experience. Would not recommend.

AVOID Dr. Tim Toth. In each encounter, he was rude and degrading to me. He made smirky remarks about my job and lifestyle. I tolerated this verbal abuse because I wanted a service done. Warning, their services and communications lead to months of stress. Toth and the administrative team expect you to know all terms and acronyms before talking to them. This information is not displayed on blogs or websites, even theirs. Pro: they have multiple locations to get through the steps.

I left a msg three weeks ago to schedule an appt. A woman who seemed rush calls me minutes ago to schedule with a rushed 'sorry for taking long BUT we have a large call volume." I should've hung up immediately but since I wanted to see Dr. Neithardt I continued. The rest was just her rudely asking questions.
I initially told her before all the questions that I'm looking for a specific doctor and she cut me off saying "don't worry all the doctors are taking patients except for one so don't worry" so instead of allowing me to tell her the doctor's name she had me continue. Dismissive action here. Then when it was time for scheduling I tell her the doctor's name and she said "oh! only that doctor is not accepting patients" what a waste of my 13 minutes and today is a special day for our family so this experience was unwarranted. I'm a clinician and have heard AWFUL things about Boston IVF from patients but I read so many excellent things about Dr. Neithardt and wanted her for a second opinion while staying with my RE. I obviously declined to schedule and hung up the phone. Such an appalling patient-customer service experience. I am happy for all those with wonderful experiences and am saddened for all those that have terrible ones. I fortunately have healthy small children and this experience has already rolled off my back but if I suffered from years of infertility with no children this call would've been more painful. I will stick with my RE. I am sharing this with the hope that it will lead to improvements in patient communication and experience.

RUN if you are LGBTQ+! They forced me to undergo painful, invasive, expensive fertility tests that were completely unnecessary, because I'm queer and have no history of infertility. Also they never once got my partner's they/them pronouns correct.

I left and am continuing my family planning at Fenway Health. These people made me cry, bleed, and wasted months of my fertile years.

No option of giving 0 star as this place is a joke. This place has made me cry and stressed few times. If only they answered their call, it would have been less stressful waiting for their call. Forgot it, it you are working/busy, better pick their call back or it's again you leaving voicemail. What a unprofessional practice after charging me thousands. Dr Peitro Bortoletto is worse so try to avoid him.
