Dearborn Fertility Center

If you’re in your research phase or still looking for an IVF clinic stay away from the DEARBORN location. This location will surely disappoint & forever leave a bad taste with their dreadful performance of unprofessionalism, horrendous patient care & painful experience of rudeness & the customer service that lacks with their poor communication towards their patients. The reception & nurse staff are anything but exceptional while going through IVF I assume our journey would be exceptional with compassionate care & welcoming experience but far from that with the exception for Zeinab, RN & Jessica the phlebotomist who honestly are the only reason for myself continuing froth with service at this location. When you contact the Bloomfield Hills location while speaking with their staff with just a phone & even their in person interaction you can tell there’s a different level of adequate communication, professionalism & patient care. The Dearborn location needs to be revamped & properly staffed, a visit to the Bloomfield location would definitely serve them well. If your thinking why I didn’t just transfer its simply because Dearborn is legit a 5 minute drive from my home & quite frankly sad to say desperate for service for the convince with our work schedule. Also I should mention I have had multiple family members utilize the Dearborn location but in their time the staff was different, so I based their experience towards mine which is & still is horrendous for a fertility office & being this week infertility awareness week I thought I’d be appropriate to place in my review so that others don’t have to experience this & chose a better location of service.nnAnd please don’t respond with the automated response as posted with prior patient responses….”please feel free to call in to speak with Lisa…that automated response hasn’t been effective since more patients still rate 1 start service & would recommend a different approach to attempting to listen to current & prior patient interactions to improve because Dr. Hammoud deserves & is an excellent doctor while sadly equipped with poor staff & please don’t suggest the Nurse Manager either… I hope this post helps improve better patient care & overall experience. Hopefully someone in leadership reads this & assists the Dearborn location as their in dearly need for improvements.nnAs always stay positive & have faith in your fertility journey with success..

I've waited to leave this review for a while to see if anything changed, but unfortunately, I truly cannot recommend this clinic to anyone pursuing fertility care. My husband and I were put through countless unnecessary obstacles during our time there - everything from being repeatedly given incorrect information about our case from both nurses and administrative staff; being told we needed forms urgently signed and notarized, only to be later told that they weren't required for our care; lapses in communication, including most recently when moving tissue from IVF-MI to a new fertility clinic; having our medical plan sent to an email address we never provided; and being sent another couple's medical plans, including DOBs, course of treatment, and insurance details.nnDuring one of the most emotionally and physically intense moments of care during our time with IVF-MI, it was abundantly clear that they did not due their due diligence in coordinating between our surgeon and their lab. We were provided incorrect surgical materials (only corrected once I noticed the mistake) and were cycled through different staff members, some asking us to sign forms only to be told within an hour that those forms were unnecessary (an unfortunate trend with this clinic). Worse yet, we were given a wide range of expectations on when we would be hearing back with our fertility status post-surgery, only to find out that none of estimated times were accurate. It was one of the most stressful medical experiences either of us has gone through.nnThe only reasons I'm giving two stars instead of one is because: 1. I do believe Dr. Hammoud is a talented and knowledgeable medical professional; and 2. the Marketing Director and Director/Asst. Director of Nursing listened and really did try to make up for these numerous issues when we brought them to their attention. However, after discussing our experience at IVF-MI with other medical professionals, it's become even more clear that these mistakes are absolutely unacceptable - especially in a field as delicate as this. Looking back on our time in their care, I feel it's important to share my opinion that anyone pursuing fertility care should seek another clinic..

I have 5 stars because they truly deserve it. This whole process is an emotionally taxing one but with faith and patience and trust in my provider everything worked out just fine and I was able to graduate from their Dearborn office. The ladies at the front desk and nurses were all so nice and answered all 9,000 questions I had everyday, seeing as though this is my first baby. Dr. Hammoud is a PRO he’s efficient, confident, reassuring and patient. Like I said this process takes PATIENCE. I prayed over myself, as well as the staff that they would be guided in the right ways to help us get to the finish line & praise be we’re here. Thank you everyone! I’ll be bringing baby back to see everyone!

I can't express my gratitude enough to the staff of IVF Michigan - Dearborn. The nursing staff was always there to answer my questions, no matter how basic, with care and compassion. I got a call back within minutes after hours from the on call nurse. Jessica made me look forward to having blood drawn which still sounds weird when I talk about it with friends and family. Danielle especially was so patient with me as I navigated infertility and IVF treatments. Dr. Hammoud will forever have our gratitude for helping create a beautiful little life we otherwise would have never had. Infertility is such a beast and the staff at IVF MI Dearborn made it feel so much more manageable and felt every emotion with me along the way. I will never forget my experience, and these amazing people will forever have left a mark on my heart.
