From our very first appointment Dr.Stoelk and his staff offered personalized care and a great relationship. He diagnosed my endometriosis from the first appointment and did a great job removing it in surgery. We had a great IVF experience with him and are now 15 weeks pregnant with our first embryo transfer! He prayed with us after our embryo transfer and that will always stick with us. He is the only doctor in the clinic and you get to really build your relationship with him and his PA Sydney! The front office staff (Rebecca) was always amazing and kind. I was always able to reach them, even on the weekends. Will definitely come back here for our future embryo transfers.

This is coming from someone who has managed two medical offices and done heavy-duty medical reception at another. It was also my husband and my first experience with an IVF clinic.nnPros:n- Dr. Chang is very kind and seemed to truly want success for us.n- Clinic is nicely located and clean.n- Phlebs are good.n- We got our embryos.nnCons:n- Test results get lost; orders get mixed up; incorrect calendars get sent, and you will have to repeat yourself dozens of times.n- Staff need to train in regard to computer systems, medical understanding and terminology. So many wrong things were said and done. There also needs to be training on prompt response. I was told dang near every time we had a test done that OFI didn’t have the report(s) yet, even though I knew they did because I would always call the outside lab beforehand. I don’t know if they were straight up lying to me about this, or they truly didn’t know how to receive a report and post it to the patient’s chart efficiently. I’m thankful I know how to manage a medical office and was able to basically work for myself.n- 99% of tests are referred out.n- I don’t think we were ever once greeted when we walked in. I always had to initiate. Welcoming energy at the front desk is incredibly important. I don’t think anyone ever remembered us, nor did it appear that anyone but Dr. Chang enjoyed their jobs.n- Very old school type practice. Not much is electronic; modernization is needed. Especially keeping up to date with new procedures and research studies.n- Clearly an NP or MA (or both) is needed at this clinic, as well as a patient care coordinator. Patient care is not clear or ever explained. You are expected to know everything that’s going to happen, and if you don’t, your questions usually go unanswered.nnOverall, we had higher hopes. They got us to where we are now, and we’re grateful for that, but we did overlook many red flags in the process..

We transitioned our care to Dr. Chang after working with another local clinic for several years and multiple failed IVF attempts. I wish I had done that sooner. Dr. Chang is incredibly kind, knowledgeable and truly wants to help you succeed. She is genuinely a good human being and an excellent doctor. She took time to understand our situation, stayed with us through several ups and downs of the journey, and when it was time for us to finally be able to have another cycle, she helped us succeed in the very first attempt with her. She was so meticulous and thoughtful about putting her best foot forward with the protocol she put me on. She works with her patients, listens to them and never ever dismisses them or their concerns. It was an absolute pleasure working with her. I can’t recommend her enough!

We found NWFC after years of trying, and working with so many doctors. After our first appointment with Dr. Stoelk we just new we had found our team. We felt so comfortable, so supported, and not at all like a number which we had felt at some of the bigger practices. Everything was so organized, and no one ever made you feel like they didn't have time to listen to you, answer your questions, call you back or email you back. No patient portals, no project manager, no long waits on questions . We're so grateful for Dr. Stoelk, Sydney, Lisa, Rebecca and the whole team. 26 weeks pregnant with our baby girl !.

Dr. Chang’s clinic was the only clinic in the Portland Metro area that would perform outside monitoring for us as our embryos were located in another state. This was critical during and after Covid to monitor the stages throughout both of our FETs.nDr. Chang was very supportive and excited with us as we went along the post transfer journey.

I had a great experience with Dr. Stoelk and his care team!nBefore starting my IVF journey, I felt that the odds were heavily stacked against me. My husband and I have been trying to have a baby for a few years before we decided to try IUI at Kaiser. Our chances of success were low given my age and AMH level. We had 6 failed cycles of IUI before proceeding with IVF at Northwest Fertility. IVF is definitely a challenging journey, we had our ups and downs throughout the process. But Dr. Stoelk and his team made it a positive experience. Dr. Stoelk was thorough and addressed any concerns I had along the way and his care team were also kind and very helpful. During the embryo transfer, my husband and I proceeded with cautious hope because we only had one healthy embryo. But we were blessed that we only needed our one healthy embryo to have a successful transfer. Long story short, I am now 18 weeks pregnant at 42 years old and couldn't be any happier. I can't thank Dr. Stoelk and his team enough!.

Couldn’t be more pleased with Northwest Fertility. :) Dr. Stoelk knows what he is doing and put my mind at ease. I felt so comfortable and listened to when I had questions for the nurses. They were amazing at getting all the blood work scheduled that needed to be done and prescriptions. Having had a history of losses, I was shocked to find out I was pregnant right after our first appointment! Although no treatment was done for this miracle - the treatment after and support to ensure all would be well with baby was so wonderful. I am 21 weeks now and in awe each day. 💕🥰
