Warning: Stay Away from Genesis Rising Agency
Genesis Rising wasted months and $6,000+ with no service. We expected professional screening - got deceptive billing and unqualified candidates.
Double-Billing "Screening": They told us to fund escrow for "medical screening." Charged $2,000 for "screening" (just matching fee). Months later, our IVF clinic billed separately for actual medical screening. Deliberately ambiguous to make us think we'd already paid.
Disqualified Candidate: Our only requirement: Vegas-based carrier. They matched us with someone requiring expensive travel. Our clinic said this candidate was previously screened and needed surgery before she could carry. She was not medically qualified, yet Genesis spent our money on her travel and called her a match.
Budget Bait-and-Switch: Once we signed their contract they informed us they would not honor any of the promises they made by phone or email, including their projected budget.

Worst agency ever ! Run far from that ! They’re not doing their job, they’re dishonest, and they gave us the worst experience ever when it was supposed to be the best moment of our lives! The surrogate mothers might even be acting illegally — but the director doesn’t care as long as she gets her money! She has zero empathy, and it doesn’t matter if the intended parents are in real distress, as long as she can go on vacation! Even the people working for her were secretly helping us behind her back because they knew it wasn’t right! There are so many other agencies out there — stay away from this one! HORRIBLE!!

Now that my journey is over and my miracle boy is here. I would like to give a sincere thank you to the most caring and amazing people part of this agency. Linzi who was freaking amazing! Every question that I ever had no matter weekend, morning, night was always answered. My coordinator Valerie was awesome. Always a text away! Cat the owner always involved and knows what’s going on. No corner left unturned. I was matched with an amazing surrogate and I am very picky! Everything was smooth from day one. I only had one embryo so I was very nervous and anxious all the time! But now I have my miracle boy and I don’t regret a second when signing on with them! My surrogate who is auntie now was amazing since day one!!! Much love to everyone! Thank you, thank you, thank you for my little man!!

When I began this journey, I believed whole heartedly this wasn’t just something I wanted to do but something that I was destined to do and Genesis Rising did such an amazing job by ensuring me, I would be match with someone who met the same values as me as much as their values were met equally. This was my first time so you can imagine how scary it was but I can’t even imagine doing this without Summer and my IP, for they truly did make my entire experience so at ease and comfortable. I can not say enough great things about genesis rising!! I was a surrogate for a wonderful family, and genesis rising helped in the process of making that happen. We are located in NY, and they took the time to make sure all legal ends for our state were met, and that both parties had everything we needed for a smooth journey. From matching, to staying in contact, clinic hiccups, to pregnancy and delivery… they were wonderful!!
