Planned Parenthood - Batavia Health Center

I support planned parenthood and everything it stands for. However don’t go to this location unless it’s absolutely an emergency. After claiming to have no had me scheduled and showing them the scheduled they’re like maybe we can get you in today already off to a bad start. Then I told them about my extreme uti symptoms and they didn’t want to treat me and tried to tell me I need to go to the hospital. I had to plea with them that I do no have health insurance. They also did not panel me for enough tests for secondary infections and were giving me a hard time about sending my urine out for a culture . They said I took over the counter meds so they couldn’t do anything for me I had to ask for a nurse . All that means is they would have had to send it out and can’t test on sight . The nurse practitioner was ok but the rest of the staff was very rude and had no idea what they were talking about .

I visited this location a couple months ago for a Nexplanon implant. I was a little nervous at first, but everyone from the front desk to the procedure were so kind. They calmed my nerves, made sure I was comfortable with the process, and asked multiple times throughout if I had any questions. I am confident that my implant was inserted correctly, and it has since healed great. I would definitely recommend this location!.

This place literally wasted hours of my time. I have only gone there 5 or 6 times and only once did I walk in, get what I came for, and walked out. One time I came, and they were closed for, get this, Valentine's day. They were going to be open the next day, but there was no update online, not even a sign on the door. I had to call regional planned parenthood to even figure out they were going to be open the next day. One day I went and tried to get the patch. They were completely out so I was either forced to switch methods or come back a different day. Another time I went to get my new form of birth control, and they said they couldn't give it to me because I had gotten insurance (despite getting birth control from them previously while having said insurance) which cost me another wasted trip and an unplanned trip to the pharmacy. All I got was an offhand comment about coming in on their lunch break. People who work there are nice enough on the whole, but if your time is of any value to you, go somewhere else..
