Personal experience was awful and I’m in medical field. Start off with Dr Brezina not reviewing my medical reports before lecturing in front of “medical student” about my case and not asking before hand to have a student for my case. Overall Fertility Associates needs to hire more women physicians and let these men go play golf ✌️.

I am currently 6 months pregnant with a healthy baby! Dr. Bailey was my doctor and I cannot say enough about how much I appreciate the treatment I received from her and really the entire team at Fertility Associates of Memphis. It took me roughly a year to get pregnant doing IVF and amongst all the appointments and different procedures, the entire team was always super kind and professional, especially considering the range of emotional and physical endurance you go through during the "IVF journey". Thank you Dr. Bailey and the rest of the team!!.

Dr. Ke was amazing! He diagnosed my issue and successfully removed my polyp. The surgery went smoothly, and I got pregnant four months later. I truly appreciate that he never pushed any extreme treatments and aimed for the least invasive approach possible. Now, my baby girl is two months old and super healthy!

We waited 2+ hours each of the 4 times we visited this clinic. We live in a different state and were advised that this place was one of the best, so we thought it would be worth it to take days off of work to travel. They didn't return our phone calls when we had questions, made us wait for hours (around 3 hours on average) in the waiting room after our scheduled appointment, didn't have answers for us when we finally got to see the doctor, and 2/4 times hadn't even collected all the test results from the clinics in our home state. During our last visit, our doctor asked if my wife wanted to redo some testing ($500-700 out of pocket) to see if they missed anything. What? If you think YOU missed something, just do the test again, but don't charge US for it! I was also strongly advised to only go to them for testing ($250 out of pocket) because she'd heard it's impossible to get into my home clinic. When I called my home clinic, the testing is a simple walk in procedure that costs $16.50. They refuse to give any type of test results over the phone, even though we live in a different state. We drove to Memphis for a quick procedure (after the 2.5 hour wait in the waiting room) and then went home. A few days later we called to get the results after getting an email saying they were ready. They flat refused to tell us our results and made us schedule an appointment, pay the fee to see the doctor, and wait our usual 2 hours in the waiting room, before giving us information. This place feels like a money grab. After we decided we were going to find a different clinic, we requested our medical records. THEY SENT US A STRANGERS MEDICAL RECORDS on accident! If accidents like THAT are happening, what else is going on?! Going through fertility treatment is a difficult and intimate process. We were expecting professional, compassionate, determined care. We received long waits, insane bills for basic tests, zero communication, and a feeling of hopelessness for something we've been working so hard for. After spending literally thousands of dollars it is worth it to us to find a different clinic that respects us, our time, and our goals. ***We told the physician who originally referred us about our experience. She apologized for sending us, as she learned later that the clinic had been bought by a hospital and has been hearing similar feedback from other couples.***

My husband and I were referred to Fertility Associates of Memphis approximately 7 months ago. I did not have a physician preference and asked for the first available which landed us with Dr. Brezina. I believe in a having a comfortable relationship with your physician especially when the subject is sensitive. Words cannot express how compassionate, understanding and patient Dr. Brezina has been with us. We recently experienced another miscarriage and he walked us through the entire process. He provided options with explanations for each outcome, offered suggestions, and ultimately let me make my own decision. Our difficulty getting pregnant is simply a different road in life than we expected to take. We are very blessed to be walking down that path with Dr. Brezina to help guide us along the way. No doctor's is perfection and there are some things I wish were a little different. The front desk staff could be more personable. I understand they sit at the front and don't deal with patients or what we are experiencing. In saying this, some general compassion would be appreciated at times. When you walk in all they ask is, Your name please. On another occasion, I scheduled a follow up appointment per Dr. Brezina. I returned to the office for a confirmation of my miscarriage and was asked, when leaving the office, if I now wanted to cancel that appointment. It was an emotional time already and I felt her asking me to cancel was implying I no longer needed that appointment due to my miscarriage. Please note the front desk does not make this office. The staff and physicians you deal with are amazing and completely make up for what the front desk lacks. I cannot state how highly I recommend Dr. Brezina. The nurses (his nurse in particular), ultrasound technician, and sweet woman that is in charge of blood work are all wonderful.

Keeping it real when parents-to-be are in a fog. Let's face it, parents-to-be who have trouble becoming parents often need help conceiving or retaining a pregnancy. We get emotional, we are angry, we are sad. Fortunately for the mid-south, Fertility Associates of Memphis provides that service and can help most families with their fertility problems. (It has been six years since I've required the services of this office, so you know my review is not tainted by hormones or stained by tears.) My experience with Fertility Associates of Memphis was not unlike many other moms' trials. We didn't have trouble getting pregnant, but I'd suffered multiple miscarriages and 2 D&Cs, and my OBGYN was smart enough to refer me to her partner on a research publication she'd done on multiple miscarriages. Conveniently located in the same building at 80 Humphrey's Center near Baptist Women's Hospital, I was walked down to see Dr. Kutteh. After all the emotions I'd experienced in an office full of women, it was a nice change to see some male faces who approached my fertility proactively and in a scientific manner. I had an HSG (a painful x-ray of the uterus with dye), DNA testing, progesterone supplements, and eventually, a very simple surgery to repair a minor problem (major enough, however, to prevent any embryo from attaching). It felt good leaving his office after each visit with a proactive feeling, like I knew what was going to happen next, and I knew what we'd done so far. I was kept in the loop, I never felt like crying in the office, and I knew that he'd get me there. When I had the surgery at Methodist, one nurse did not start my IV antibiotics on time and he really gave it to her! This doctor takes care of his patients and wants things done correctly. That's what I'd want for my own daughter, too. Some serious precautions (folic acid, progesterone supplements, etc) later, we have a son and daughter, just like we always dreamed of. I have since had the pleasure of seeing Dr. Kutteh when he visited our church, and enjoyed speaking to him and his wife, and thanking him in person for helping us. Other friends of mine have experienced Clomid for ovulation, and IVF treatments with Dr. Ke and loved his demeanor as well. They have recently taken on a third partner, Dr. Brezina, who became interested in the field after he and his wife experienced their own difficulty conceiving. Isn't it a comfort to know that your fertility specialist might have experienced some of the heartache and wait that you have? P.S. When our insurance didn't want to cover treatment, they fought for us and saved us some money, too!
