I couldn’t be happier with my experience at Austin Area OBGYN! From the moment I walked in, the staff was so friendly, patient, and welcoming. The office and waiting room were clean, spacious, and comfortable — and the free parking (with valet available!) was a great bonus.\n\nI live in Manor, and the 20-minute drive was more than worth it, especially since they accept my ChampVA insurance. Every person I interacted with was kind, courteous, and genuinely helpful. The nurse and doctor worked together seamlessly, and I never once felt rushed. They took their time to really listen, answer all my questions, and provide thoughtful advice tailored to my needs.\n\nIt’s rare to find a provider who makes you feel truly cared for and confident in your healthcare. I’m so grateful I found mine here in Austin — and I’ll definitely be recommending them to everyone I know!

Dr. Garcia is absolutely incredible! She was so thoughtful and attentive throughout my entire appointment, and I truly felt comfortable at every stage. It was like she could read my mind—she knew exactly what I needed to hear and guided me with such calm expertise. You can immediately tell how knowledgeable she is just by the way she explains things, and I felt completely at ease in her care. They never sent my medical records over to my new OB as I requested and so I had to take print them from the portal and take them myself . By that time I already caught preeclampsia and high blood pressure and had to have an emergency c section and my baby passed 6days later due to NEC in NICU . Go deliver at st.Davids downtown

Absolutely inept front desk staff and manager. I love making an appt, driving 30 min to it, and then hearing from the people that made my appt that they don't take my insurance. This appt was booked bc of a Dr referral so this office had full access to my insurance info, yet they called me to make the appt fully knowing they don't take my insurance. Then they pulled the "you can still see the doctor-you just have to pay 100% out of pocket." Absolute waste of time and they obviously didn't care at all that they did this to me. If you go, double check their work bc they very clearly are not doing the job they get paid to do.

Doctor Dr. Meena Arselind was great. She is so sweet, patient and helpful. It was my first time going to a gynecologist in USA and it was an amazing experience. She was gentil with me and the nurse was so sweet and friendly too. I definitely recommend. My experience was great. The only thing difficult thing was calling them to schedule my appointment. I needed to go to the build for that..

3 years, 2 babies later! I still love Dr Anderson and her nursing staff.
I am so glad I switched doctors in 2019! Was the best decision! I live over an hour away but will happily make that drive to see her. I had to have some surgeries since my last review and dr Anderson worked with a surgeon she has personally used. I had to have a gallbladder removal. Both Dr Anderson and the surgeon worked together to get both of their surgeries done in North Austin surgery center so I didn't have to make 2 trips. I was in the best hands, surgery nurses were very good! I always feel like I receive the best care there! She always hugs me when she walks in and asks about the kids, my husband ect. She has such great bedside manners as a doctor and seems to really care about patients. Makes me feel comfortable! I love AA ObGYN, and Dr Anderson!

I'm 8 months pregnant & seeing Dr. Aserlind who i 10/10 recommend ! But let me put this review for Jade Oranday at the front desk on the Sonogram side ! I got my appointments mixed up (mom brain) & she was so quick to call my drs. Team AND get a sonographer to still see me 5 minutes after speaking w her. A blessing for sure! Thank you for your kindness & amazing customer service Jade! you made my day :)

I just visited AA OBGYN for the first time and had a great experience, starting with the complementary valet. Despite how busy the office was, I was in and out within a very reasonable amount of time. Dr. Rogers was kind, thorough, and professional! The office was very clean and everyone was nice.

Dr. Alyson Garcia is so extraordinary. Every year I see her for my annual it's like visiting a friend. I wish I could see her more often honestly. She is so amazing and makes me feel so comfortable. She listens and she does not judge. I honestly believe she is the BEST. She has given me words of encouragement and just been the most supportive person in my life. As I said before.... Dr. Alyson Garcia is EXTRAORDINARY.

I was told a procedure would cost $487, which I paid the day of, then received a bill a few days later for an additional $1260. They said they made a mistake with my estimate. I asked for help lowering the balance some - not even asking to waive all of it, just to offer me a small discount since they made such a big mistake - manager will not do it. I did not agree to this amount before my procedure and probably wouldn't have had I known how much I would have to pay out of pocket for it. It is wrong to do that to someone and I ask the manager who is unwilling to help make it right, how would you feel if this happened to you? There was also a 1+ hour wait time for the last few visits I had - they're overbooking. I've been a patient here since around 2017, but I can't trust them now and won't be going back sadly. They seem too busy now to offer quality patient care.

I've been with Dr Akin, AAOBGYN, for over 40 years. He is the kindest, most well educated and best gynecologist, I, or anyone I've referred to him has known, presently or prior. Any of the females that I have known that have used the other drs. have felt the same way. This entire facility is state of the art with kind, pleasant personnel. I'm sure you will have a wonderful experience here.

Almost a month ago I called & spoke with Jessie about establishing myself as a new patient with a new doctor bc the care I received under DR Landherr was subpar at best. Jessie sounded like he had absolutely no idea what he was doing but he would speak with his manager and give me a give me a call back after the weekend to let me know the status of my request. He even tried to tell me that I "had to see DR Landherr for my last appointment." As if I had no choice in the matter. In the meantime, I continued to experience issues since being released from the hospital postpartum. Jessie never called me back. So not only was I not helped, but I was also locked out of my portal with no explanation. Bc of this I couldn't schedule anything or message any nurses with my concerns. Nor see or pay any bills. I had my hands full with a newborn so there was only so much I could deal with on a daily basis. Today I called again to speak with someone bc my infection wasn't getting better. Jessie once again called me back. He had no apology for never following up with me and was completely rude and unprofessional. After explaining to him that I'm still experiencing symptoms a month later and need to see a doctor ASAP, he let me know that I owed the hospital 71 bucks and there's nothing he can do for me until that's paid. Cigna and I have paid St David's and Austin Area Obgyn a wild amount of money at this point, but you won't let me see a doctor for an infection that has been going on ever since I delivered at your hospital over SEVENTY ONE DOLLARS???? This establishment is a disgrace and the way its employees speak to and treat patients is disgusting. Don't even get me started on how the lab lost my blood or my experience postpartum. I'll take my health and my insurance and find someone who actually cares. Best of luck getting that 71 bucks.

Still at 1 star.. I had my baby in August who was not even delivered by my OB. I never heard or saw my actual OB at any point during, after and postpartum. No one called to schedule a postpartum visit. No one called to check to see how my baby and I were doing. If you want a standard of care where you are more then just a dollar sign - I suggest you look elsewhere. This is based on having two kids with this practice, 6 years apart and no changes.
