Staff are lovely in-person and over the phone. Clean facilities, pleasant waiting room, minor hiccups with the pharmacy and insurance were resolved in a timely manner. Good location with plenty else to do in the area.

Tried to see an OBGYN for 'lady problems' I called probably 6 offices and all were scheduled out 2-3 months out, finally I tried calling this place and this office was very nice, flexible, and saw me same day. Office was clean and well kept. Would recommend to anyone that cares about their feminine health!

These people gave me a medication knowing that it could cause another infection and did not want to send over the proper medication to treat it, instead wanted me to schedule a separate visit with another copay and time missed from work, very unacceptable! So I stop taking the medication across the board to stop the offset from the medication they prescribed.

I wasn't going to leave a review but, I'm still irritated with what happened at this location.
This is not my typical spot but they had the soonest appointment to see me. I drove a hour+ to this location, yes I did that. That's how concerned with my body I've been.
All I wanted was to be listened to and heard but it seemed that one thing led to something else.
I booked the appointment as I wanted (woman's exam) when I got there it was changed because it wasn't unnecessary since it was considered a problem appointment and I wasn't due for my woman's exam yet. I don't know how being late for a period and having effects makes me a problem but okay..
Either way, I know it's important to have medical updates on file so, I did just that. Well, that being said. I came for a check up because I'm personally not feeling myself and I'm months late but, some how this appointment became a breast cancer situation rather than focusing on my actually reasoning of being there.
All symptoms of pms/prego while not having or being either one. I did have a breast exam but, that's because I've been sensitive and sore and she changed it to just that. Now, I'm a little annoyed that I left with nothing I actually wanted done and when I did, I was talked out of it. I won't be coming back for sure and there was a cost I wasn't even aware of for just the appointment it self, kinda ridiculous! Either way, i was sent off with "you have another month to go" meaning for my period to arrive. Umm, thanks I guess.. I didn't want to be rude so I replaced that by being nice, maybe too nice. I honestly just wanted to leave without a exam etc, the whole situation was uncomfortable with the doctor. Having to explain myself on a situation that wasn't even a worry for me or the reason I was there and it was awkward. She made me feel stupid not having facts on a situation that wasn't even why I placed this appointment in the first place. Yah, let's just stare each other for a bit while I wait for a reply.
I've never had a horrible experience with planned parenthood until now!
But, I will give front desk a thank you for being funny, nice and making the experience bearable.

I was worried about being uncomfortable, but the nurses here were nice and informative. Would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a less expensive and comfortable experience. They limited patient contact because of COVID, and I still felt I was given the utmost care and attention. Wonderful experience over all.

KAREN IS SO WONDERFUL.
finding a gynecologist or really anyone you're comfortable with when dealing with your lady parts can be a chore. karen is smart, funny, direct and attentive. she's great at her job and keeps you comfortable. she's easy to talk to and takes the uneasiness out of the room in a flash. absolutely adore her and glad i found this location for my reproductive health!

The nurse practitioners here are really easy to talk to and make me feel comfortable when I do come in. I had my Nexplanon removed twice by different nurses. Debbie removed it 4 years ago unfortunately she retired and today I was seen by Karen.

I forgot my NPs name that helped me out today but she was awesome as was the rest of the staff. I was scared about the minimal procedure I had but she made me feel at ease and she talked to me to distract me. Planned Parenthood gets a bad rep but I will always support them for all they do for me and the communities they're in! I wish more people supported them.

While the location is convenient for me, I will not be coming back here. I was rescheduled 3 times for various reasons. Each time they rescheduled the appointments over the phone.
1) The first rescheduling was due to not having the supplies needed for my appointment. How you don't have supplies for an appointment made at least 3-4 days in advance is beyond me. Oh and to top it off, they called me 15 minutes before the appointment right when I was driving up to the facility. Checking for supplies is usually the first thing done in the morning when the clinic is being opened. Mind you I also called that morning to make sure everything was good to go.
2) This next time I had to reschedule was due to a family emergency of the physician who would've been overseeing the appointment. An understandable reason to reschedule, however, I was down the street from them and they called me 15 minutes before the appointment.
3) Last rescheduling was a bit off putting. I called a couple of days before to make sure they had supplies and ask if I needed to do anything before I came in. They said they were good to go for the appointment. That same day they call me in the afternoon to see about rescheduling because they would be closed the day of my appointment. I mentioned how this was the third time I've had to reschedule and the woman I spoke with had no idea. I told her I would like to reschedule but to go to a different facility.
After all the mix ups I was finally able to get my appointment done with but man talk about a headache! Not only did I deal with that but the first time I had to reschedule I dealt with rude customer service people. Again I won't be coming here again.

Review of Planned Parenthood - Mesquite from Celena B.
Karen Massey, one of the nurse practitioners there is amazing, actually one of the best care providers I have been treated by. She really takes the time to listen and answer all of your questions. I don't like to wait and you might have to wait here. The wait is comparable to other doctors and is totally worth it when you can finally have your questions answered. I don't have insurance and it wasn't easy making the payment, but ask if there are grant programs to help you.
