I don't recommend planned parenthood for LGBTQ+ even though their website says they help with that. Me and my wife went there and they charged us $60 for a consult and didn't answer any of our questions. It's a little discouraging for a couple to go in thinking they are LGBTQ friendly when they couldn't answer any of our questions. Such a bummer.

I was SO nervous to get my copper IUD, i decided the night before, booked the appointment this morning, and they got me in with no issue.\n\nThe Doctor and staff are so nice and understanding, a lot of places don’t offer vaginal numbing but they did, and when the procedure happened the doctor was so efficient and walked me through everything, it went so well! SO happy with my care here!

I had a fantastic experience here! I got an IUD inserted and was pretty nervous about the appointment. All of the employees made me feel so taken care of and comfortable. The doctor told me what I would feel and when so I was prepared for everything. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. Very grateful for Planned Parenthood and the variety of services they provide!

My fiance and I had been nervous for weeks before committing to the copper IUD. When we got there, both ladies that helped us were phenomenally patient. Sarah specifically was the one inserting the IUD, she explained every detail about what would happen, when the pain would occur, and by the time it was over, we couldn't believe it. All that stress wiped away so quickly. Thank you!

I had a wonderful visit......
Absolutely 5 stars for this place
This was my first ever visit to Planned Parenthood
I came in for an abortion consultation
Scheduling (via their helpline phone number) was easy. I was able to get an appointment scheduled within 5 days.
I showed up early for my appointment, and they were able to immediately see me. I was in and out in 40 minutes.
As an FYI to others-
This Orem location does not do in clinic abortion procedures, nor do they offer you the abortion pill---- the Orem location only does the one hour abortion consult (for $30), then they schedule the actual procedure for the SLC Metro clinic
Very clean
VERY nice staff and doctors
Very safe environment
I would highly recommend this location!!
No clue what the bad reviews are talking about.......

This was my first visit to a Planned Parenthood clinic and I was very impressed! I went to have my contraceptive arm implant (Nexplanon) removed and reinserted. My normal health care provider no longer inserts this contraceptive. I was hesitant to book at Planned Parenthood due to negative connotations surrounding these clinics (not to mention that, at the time I booked my appointment, I was told to expect possible protestors on-site when I arrived for my appointment), and felt frustrated when I wasn't provided with CPT codes for the procedure so that I could confirm in advance with my insurance that everything would be covered. HOWEVER, all was made right. Booking online or by phone isn't done by the staff at this specific facility, and I found the staff at the Utah Valley location to be incredibly kind, helpful, and well-informed. I was given all the information I needed to have peace of mind about my insurance coverage, the procedure, and my rights as a patient. The front desk staff was patient and professional with me. Kelley, the physician who actually performed the procedure, was extremely well-practiced with removing/inserting Nexplanon. She walked me through every step of what she was doing and explained why she would be making the incision where she did. It's the third time I've had this form of birth control inserted, and this is the best it's ever been. Incredibly efficient--I hardly believed her when she told me everything was finished. I would definitely return to this facility the next time I need anything done with my Nexplanon device.\n\nAnd, bonus, I got free condoms to use during the "interim" of the old device coming out and the new device taking effect.\n\nThis facility makes me feel like a woman empowered with choice..

I just got a copper iud and my experience was great! Everyone was very, very kind and helpful. They communicated well and performed the insertion very well. They even gave me some numbing gel. I experienced very little pain. This was my first ever obgyn appointment so I was nervous, but I shouldn’t have been because everyone was amazing. I would for sure recommend coming here to get an iud..

I had an IUD insertion here. It was the most horrific experience and I would tell anyone and everyone not to go to Planned Parenthood because of it. I'll just say it was the most pain I've ever felt, and I have two children. When the doctor was done, she wiped her bloody hands on my gown that I was wearing and left the room.
I'll say this... They say that they last 12 years. That bitch is gonna stay inside of me until the day that I die- I now have severe anxiety when I think about getting it taken out

These idiots don't educate males about HPV as they don't test for it in their std testing.
My daughter's father now thinks our daughter isn't his as he's been going to Planned Parenthood for years, but he's passing high-risk HPV to girls he's sleeping with that I had to get checked for cancer with.
I found out I have high-risk HPV from my obgyn follow-up after I gave birth to our daughter. There isn't testing for males with HPV unless they have warts, which as my obgyn told me, they rarely do.
Guys think they're std free and tell women this because the idiots at Planned Parenthood tell them they're fine.
I waited to have sex until it meant something. planned Parenthood idiots have messed up my family.

I got an IUD inserted here a few months ago now. I was really nervous and wanted to talk through my options. The nurse that got me all set up was so sweet and talked me through the whole process, and the doctor was amazing about answering every question I had and advising which IUD would work best for me with the issues I wanted to absolve. I came alone so as I was getting the IUD inserted, another nurse came in and held my hand during the insertion process, which felt a little ridiculous at first but honestly helped so much. It was done so quickly and professionally, and they let me hangout for a bit to make sure I was good to drive home. The doctor told me everything to watch out for and I felt really well informed.
A couple weeks later I noticed my strings were longer than before and started to freak out a little about the IUD possibly moving. Within a few hours I was back in the clinic and the same doctor checked it out and told me it was totally fine. I felt so well taken care of and everyone was so sweet and attentive throughout the entire process.
P.S. There are some people who are posting racist & overall ridiculous reviews about how planned parenthood is promoting "race-mixing" and "degenerate activity" and I hope this disgusting point of view doesn't deter anyone from coming to such an inclusive place.
