Seattle Reproductive Medicine - Everett Reviews
Rating Overview
What Patients Are Saying
The experiences shared by clients highlight both strengths and areas for improvement. Reviewers consistently commend the clinic staff for their professionalism, kindness, and support throughout the care process. However, several clients have expressed concerns regarding significant price increases, communication delays, and the need for more personalized, compassionate medical care. Improvements in pricing transparency and patient communication could enhance the overall experience. Overall, while the supportive staff are a notable strength, addressing these key areas would better align with patient expectations.

Rating: ★★☆☆☆ (2/5)n5 stars for the staff, 1 star for Dr. WardnnThe clinic staff are truly excellent—professional, kind, and supportive at every step. However, my experience with Dr. Ward was deeply disappointing. She often came across as more focused on upselling costly treatments—like IVF and genetic testing—than providing a thoughtful, individualized approach. This was especially troubling considering my partner and I are in our early 30s, with no family history of genetic concerns.nnDr. Ward repeatedly insisted that infertility must be due to my age and egg quality, citing the oversimplified and outdated theory that "women are born with all their eggs" while "men produce new sperm every 90 days." This narrow view ignores modern research showing that male fertility can also decline with age and contribute significantly to infertility. I left our appointments feeling dismissed and gaslit, rather than truly heard or supported.nnTo every woman out there who is struggling: this is not your fault. You deserve a doctor who leads with compassion, who listens without blame, and who supports you as a whole person—not just a set of lab results. Even if the outcome isn’t what you hoped for, your life is no less meaningful. Your value is not defined by your ability to conceive.nnIf you’re considering this clinic, know that the support staff are outstanding—but I strongly encourage you to seek a second opinion from a physician who will truly respect and empower you..

Like another reviewer mentioned, the new pricing at Seattle Reproductive Medicine is outrageous—and potentially unethical. For patients without fertility coverage, everything is paid out-of-pocket, and SRM seems to take advantage of that vulnerability.nnOriginally, I was quoted $175 (January 2025) for a mid-cycle ultrasound. Now that cost has jumped to $650 (April 2025) - regardless of how many ultrasounds you have. This cost also includes bloodwork that I was never offered by any of my healthcare providers. I pushed for a second ultrasound to make sure the timing was right—because I wanted to improve my chances and avoid wasting a round. For two ultrasounds, I expected to pay $350. Now, that cost has jumped to $650.nnThis kind of price gouging adds unnecessary financial and emotional stress to an already difficult process. I reached out to three other clinics today and am planning to transfer care—even if it means commuting to Kirkland, Seattle, or Bellingham. Anything is better than continuing care here.nnBeyond the inflated costs, the billing department is disorganized, and the clinic has begun to feel more like a business assembly line than a place offering compassionate, individualized care. When I raised my concerns, the financial manager said she’d “bring it back to corporate”—which told me everything I needed to know. Corporate doesn’t care about my body or my outcome.nnTo make matters worse, the medical team barely has time to walk patients through essential parts of the process. During my first IUI cycle, I was trying to determine the right time and method to administer my Ovidrel shot, but the doctor seemed rushed and didn’t help me feel informed or comfortable.nnThis experience has made an already challenging journey even more stressful. I hope SRM re-evaluates how it treats and supports the people entrusting them with such an important part of their lives..

They take forever to get back to you. Procedures like IUI and IVF are time bound and they do not accommodate time sensitive requests/queries. I guess it is not much to ask from a care provider..

The care over the years that I have been with this clinic was good until my miscarriage where it was handled horribly and I almost died. Then gave a new Dr. here a chance and have quite enjoyed my care with her and my nurse. Today I received notice that their pricing is going from $175/TIC to $650 and all you get is an ultrasound and IF you get pregnant then a blood draw. I have done 6 rounds of TIC with no luck and now will be forced to leave due to this clinic being bought out and increasing their prices DRASTICALLY so that it is even more unaffordable to the get care I need. While there are some good people that work here would recommend not wasting money at this clinic and go elsewhere.

Nobody followed up after my appointment. After my second message, the earliest follow-up I'm offered is 2 months out, and telehealth only. These things are true, regardless of any excuse given by the business in the reply.

Unfortunately my journey is a bit more complicated than I expected but it's amazing how quickly SRM was able to identify issues as to why I most like have not been getting pregnant.
Not all of the procedures you go through are comfortable but the staff does their absolute best to ensure the best experience that they can for you.
I don't remember names, but the nurse practitioner here and her assistant were beyond empathetic while a procedure was not going as planned due to issues with my body.
Nurse Elsa who has done my bloodwork (multiple times) is the most gentle person I've ever encountered. When I saw her for my second blood draw I was relieved to see it was her that was going to do it.
My journey is far from over but my hopes are very high for becoming pregnant in a few months after I undergo a surgery next week for something that has most likely been preventing me from getting pregnant. Even if I still have to IVF at the end, it feel SRM and the staff at this location have done their best to make this as much of a positive experience as they can.
