Tersoglio Institute

It begins in 1983 with the incorporation of sonography into reproductive medicine and the start of seminal laboratory techniques.

In 1995 the in vitro fertilization and oocyte uptake by ultrasound via the transvaginal route began, in 1996 the first birth was obtained by this technique.

In 1999 the egg donation program began and the first birth in 2000. Pioneers in cryopreservation and in embryonic culture sequential to day 5, the first pregnancy was achieved by transfer of Blastocyst in 2001.

In 2002 the semen bank and the Hatching techniques were instituted.

In 2003 inauguration of the own building, integrating all the areas, the first Cryotransference birth was obtained in Blastocisto and ISO 9001-2000 standards were implemented.

In 2004 ICSI embryonic micromanipulation techniques were incorporated, Hatching with tyrode, Fragment removal. ISO 9001-2000 Standards Certification.

In 2005, embryonic development and culture is carried out on 5/6 Hatching / Hatched day; publications of scientific works at an international level.

In 2006 we incorporated the Institute into the Latin American Network for Assisted Reproduction

In 2007 a new building with greater availability of space and services.

In 2008, in vitro maturation techniques and the start of the vitrification program were developed.

As of 2012, IVF is incorporated in slightly stimulated and natural cycles.

In August 2013, the division of molecular biology and cell culture was created.
