SINGLE MOTHERHOOD BY CHOICE: A CHANGE IN SOCIETY

Social changes especially in the workplace mean that many women are finding themselves at the end of their reproductive age and without a stable enough relationship in order to take on the commitment of having a child.

Nowadays we have to face many conflicts caused by the breakup of couples with children. We should add, however, a social acceptance for single mothers since a previous disapproval was replaced by understanding and, in many cases, admiration towards this personal choice.
