Medical Background

Dr. Ong graduated from the University of Tasmania in 1995 undertaking general obstetric and gynaecological training in Brisbane and the Gold Coast. He completed sub-specialist training in reproductive medicine, his Masters in Human Reproduction and Human Genetics from the University of Sydney and was awarded FRANZCOG in 2005.

Dr. Ong completed an additional four years of training in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at Sydney’s Westmead Fertility Centre and one of the world’s leading infertility treatment and reproductive surgery centres, the University of Sheffield’s Assisted Conception Unit in England.

Dr. Ong is passionate about all aspects of infertility and reproductive disorders including male factor infertility, recurrent IVF failures, recurrent miscarriages and reproductive surgery such as sterilisation reversal microsurgery, endometriosis and fibroid surgery.

Dr. Ong is regularly called upon to present at local, national and international meetings, is published in peer review journals in the field of reproductive endocrinology and infertility and has contributed chapters in gynaecological and fertility textbooks.

Actively involved in research and a co-investigator in several large multicentre trials, Dr. Kee Ong is top of his field and a powerful campaigner against infertility.

Dr. Ong is on the medical advisory board for Monash IVF, Allamanda Private Hospital and Merck Serono.
