 A large part of your treatment will be undertaken locally, carefully managed by a local Obstetrician & Gynaecologist, A/Prof Harvey Ward and Dr Aaron Budden, in consultation with the Hunter IVF specialist team, Dr Andrew Hedges, Dr Steve Raymond, Dr Susan Winspear and Dr Denise Nesbitt. 

Local specialists A/Prof Ward and Dr Budden will expertly assess your individual circumstances, and make the initial diagnosis. This is then followed up with a video-consultation in the convenience of your own home with one of our clinical team who will create a personalised treatment plan giving you the best chance of growing your family. 

All of your preliminary work up will be managed locally, including blood and ultrasound monitoring. Travel to Hunter IVF will only needed for the individual procedures of egg collection and embryo transfer. Between times, A/Prof Ward and Dr Budden will do all they can to support patients, from initial diagnosis through to the pregnancy test, and ongoing pregnancy care. Patients will only need to travel to Hunter IVF for the egg collection, fertilisation and embryo transfer.
