Since 2003, the Nilo Frantz Reproductive Center has worked to consolidate its credibility and success. Its story is one of innovation, responsibility and most importantly: of bringing life into the world. The founder of the clinic, Dr. Nilo Frantz, always wanted to make a difference. He is a pioneer in Fetal Medicine who is responsible for the birth of the first baby through the use of the In Vitro Maturation technique in Brazil. He attended the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS) and lectured at the university for many years. 

He was a part of the first institution in Rio Grande do Sul that focused on fertility, and he established the reproductive services department at Moinhos de Vento Hospital. Dr. Nilo Frantz continues to innovate and work responsibly in Human Reproductive Medicine through spreading awareness and expanding access to treatment. He facilitates access by opening new branches and partnerships in additional locations, and provides professionals in the sector with the latest information. Included in these expansion plans are the Novo Hamburgo branch and the Fertility Institute (IFE), which aims to provide services to lower income families. 

With results comparable to the best institutions in Brazil and the world, the clinic is certified by the Brazilian National Health Surveillance Agency (ANVISA) and accredited by the Latin American Network of Assisted Reproduction (REDLARA).
