Assoc. Prof. Andonov has worked for 15 years as a director and consultant-embryologist in the prestigious in vitro centers and institutes on three continents - Chicago, Las Vegas, Cardiff, Darlington, Jeddah and London. He holds a certified license from the British Health Council to train novice embryologists in the United Kingdom. He is a certified member of the Association of Clinical Embryologists in Great Britain. Lord Robert Wilson, President of the In Vitro Centers of the House of Lords, mentions his name for his success in broadcasting to the BBC. Together with Dr. Carla Mills and colleagues, he is the founder of the first in vitro center in Varna. In 2000 was chosen as "Doctor of the Year" for achieving the first pregnancy in Bulgaria with biopsy material from the testicles of a patient with azoospermia. He holds a certificate from the European Council for Reproduction and Embryology with the right to operate throughout the European Union. Winner of awards for a prestigious percentage of pregnancies in the centers for assisted reproduction where he worked.
