Just trying to book an appointment… I’ve had a REALLY bad experience with an ultrasound tech (male) who had his Bluetooth piece still in the ear during the procedure and once finished left the room talking on the phone through said Bluetooth, carrying on his conversation like nothing happened. The exam was painful because he kept pushing the ultrasound probe on my cervix. Not a situation I had with the very kind female tech my previous exams.nnPictures don’t lie, I’m currently still on hold to book an appointment, I think they forgot about me. edit to add: I spent two hours on hold until the line cut off, sent an email, received no response.nnPer my experience I’m just a freaking number paying 1000$ for ultrasound because I’m a gestational carrier.nnDefinitely, I do not recommend this clinic to anyone.

If i could leave a worse review i would, they are lucky google doesnt allow negative stars. I wouldn't recommend this clinic to my nemesis.nnAppointment at 13h and we had to leave at 15h30 after waiting in the lobby for that long and not even being told whats going on. Another patient had been there for a total of 3 hours and when she said she would leave, the doctor suddenly came. When we were leaving, we were gonna tell the receptionist and she got up and went to the back, the doctor suddenly came and gave us a BS story about the wrong time being noted on his agenda and it being an admin issue, zero accountability.nnFortunately we only wasted half a day with these people, but i would make an effort to go elsewhere if possible. While we waited i even asked the receptionist after 1h30 and she simply said "there is delays", zero niceness and zero customer service, zero care for patients. We were not the only ones in this situation, i assume this is buisness as usual for them..

Be prepared to wait for hours regardless of what time your appointment is at. Staff is nice but there is a lack of schedule management. We waited almost 2 hours to speak with dr.Tan (and his assistant went into his office 4 times and every time he would just tell her soon). We ended up leaving only for him to call us and not really say anything. The next time we showed up with our documents in hand with the price they wrote down only for the receptionist to hand us a receipt for 220$ more, luckily when we pointed this out they corrected the charge but I don't understand how there database is managed (if at all).

If you have free time and don’t know how to spend it, then i recommend this place.nnThey make you wait hours for an appointment. Lie to you that your appointment was later even tho they send confirmation emails. My husband and I waited 2 hours, we asked the receptionist is everything was alright but she didn’t even bother to look at us to give us an answer. She said some made up answer to make us wait longer and when we had enough and wanted to leave, suddenly the doctor came.nnIf you expect to have great service since it’s a private clinic think again. It’s no better than waiting hours at the emergency and at least in the emergency you expect the long waiting period. Fertility treatments can cost and the process is stressful enough don’t waste time at a clinic that doesn’t value people. I strongly recommend any other clinic than this one.

I switched to Originelle after having had a bad experience with my first round of IVF at a well known private clinic in Montreal. My friend had success after being treated by Dr.Dahan and so I went with him as well. Dr.Dahan is an exceptional doctor - super knowledgeable and experienced, good bedside manner and a great sense of humor. My round of IVF under his care yielded exponentially better results and I am now pregnant with our first child. The rest of the staff is really great as well from the nurses to the ultrasound technicians and embryologists. 100% recommend this gem of a doctor and clinic..

My partner and I made the decision to switch clinics after a year of repetitive treatments that yielded no results. We felt that our previous clinic lacked a personalized approach, which led to our growing frustration. In our quest for a fresh perspective and with the intention of exploring IVF and donor eggs, we discovered Originelle in Spring 2024.nnOur initial consultation with Nurse Deana was thorough and enlightening, instilling in us a renewed sense of hope and optimism. We were so inspired by our conversation that we decided to proceed with my own eggs. Since then, we've undergone two rounds of IVF retrieval and have been quite pleased with the results thus far. We continue to work with the clinic as we prepare for the next steps of embryo transfer.nnIt's important to mention that Nurse Deana S. has been our guiding star throughout this journey. While the entire Ottawa staff is commendable, it's Deana who gave us the courage to venture into IVF. Her unwavering support, realistic advice, and infectious enthusiasm were instrumental in our decision to proceed. Originelle's personalized approach was a refreshing change from our previous clinic.nnOur first retrieval, although successful, revealed areas for improvement. However, our second retrieval yielded significantly better results after Deana provided an updated regimen. We are truly grateful for her expertise and dedication.

Although working with other nurses from the clinic was quite confusing in the beginning, as soon as Nurse Deana took over my file I had nothing but an amazing experience.nnShe was extremely helpful, caring, and easy to reach, even giving me her personal cell number and answering my questions on a Sunday, within a few minutes.nnShe ensured I knew exactly what to do when it came to hormonal treatments linked to IVF, sending me follow ups to our conversations by email to ensure all the information was well-received. She always followed up in a professional and timely manner.nnShe was excited for me through the entire process as me and my husband were, just full of positivity, providing a really personal experience which made the whole process much easier.nnMy husband and I are very grateful for Deana and would recommend asking to work with her by name, if at all possible..

OriginElle has been wonderful. Deana, Dr. Tan and the staff have really helped me through this entire process. They provide one on one nutrition guidance, are quick to answer all questions whenever something comes up and make me feel at ease. After 8 years of trying and being with another clinic, we can to be more satisfied with Originelle Fertility Clinic since we got referred in march. We highly recommend this clinic at 100%. They are kind and make sure you are their priority, even though they have many patients. But this review is not only how amazing in general the staff is but the nurses. Deana is the nurse that was assigned to us and she is wonderful, on queue, sympathetic and patient. She makes sure you understand and okay through out the whole experience. She checks in regularly. She is 100% in the right field and you can see she does it out of passion. We are so blessed she is part of this journey with us and makes us feel like we are part of her family..
