Honest Review – NewLife Fertility (Mississauga vs. Milton)nWe started our fertility journey last Tuesday at the Milton location — our first visit. The receptionist was very serious and didn’t greet us warmly. The nurse who took my blood was distracted, speaking softly on the phone with headphones hidden under her scarf. She didn’t give us proper attention, which was very upsetting.nToday was our first visit to Mississauga, and it was completely different — warm, professional, and caring staff. We felt respected and supported.nWe also had a sample collection appointment but weren’t given instructions beforehand. We missed work, only to be told it couldn’t happen. This shows poor communication from Milton staff.nWe trust this clinic with something so important. Patients deserve clear guidance and respect at every location. Thank you, Mississauga team, for restoring our hope.

It’s really hard to write this review because I’ve been a patient for quite some time. I most recently started a funded IVF cycle and have been experiencing so many administrative issues that should not be occurring when someone is going through a stressful period such as IVF. Firstly, despite providing my health insurance information multiple times, they told me they don’t have it. I went back and forth so many times and even today when I went to buy my medication, they tried charging me. After telling her I have insurance, The receptionist was like oh yah you have insurance, which I found odd because how could you not see that on my profile. Secondly, the receptionist working the bloodwork informed today that I don’t have a funded cycle while checking in the third time for my IVF cycle!!! Can you beleive that? After going back and forth with her, she checked and confirmed it was funded. I was very upset because how can a mistake like this happen ?? She told me that a nurse had sent a message that it was actually not funded. Like how could a nurse at this clinic make a $9200 mistake like that?!nThis completely erodes trust and confidence in the clinic. IVF is already so stressful and constantly having to deal with administrative issues adds to it. All administrative stuff should be received and vetted from the clinic before the IVF start so that patients are not having to worry about this sort of stuff as their going through IVF. It really adds unnecessary stress when emotions are high from the hormones and process. As I was speaking to the main receptionist trying to resolve this, the receptionist from the ultrasound section came, and she was speaking to her in her own language (Indian) not in English. After a few minutes, I said I have to go back because I was waiting for my ultrasound where the receptionist was like Oh, they already called your name. She didn’t tell the ultrasound technician that I was in the front reception area and she didn’t tell me that they had called my name which I found extremely rude since I came early for my appointment. Who does something like this? Completely unprofessional and rude to disregard patients time especially when they made it for a early morning apppintment time. This resulted in another patient being seen before me and me having to wait further and additionally having to wait for the IVF nurse!nI base this one star review on the multiple inconsistencies and mistakes that I have noticed throughout my experience with this clinic multiple times and by multiple people. I’m constantly having to check information and have become doubtful of what is shared with me because of this. However, Dr Alkurdi and the two Monday to Friday receptionists at the bloodwork and ultrasound as well the sonographers and lab technicians are all very kind, knowledgeable, helpful. It would be helpful management regularly reviewed their policies and properly trained staff because every one you talk to provides you a different answer to your question. It seems like I’m not the only one experiencing this based on the other one Star reviews. When you expect people to pay thousands of dollars, you should be providing a service that is reflective of the prices your charging..

I had worked with three fertility clinic now and It’s definitely the worst one. It’s super disorganized. The staffs have got my appointments wrong multiple times. You have to be very cautious and pay a lot of attention to every details, otherwise they will mess up. The lab is also very disorganized and unprofessional. I had very disappointing embryo results and they told me it is because both the egg and the sperm are bad quality. It is absurd because I am using donor sperm from certified sperm bank. And all the examination results were good on me as well. They never given me any picture nor data about the embryos except the grading.nnI really regret doing IVF here. Don’t waste your time and your money here..

My experience at NewLife Fertility Centre has been truly wonderful. I’m a very emotional person, and Dr. Kattygnarath made me feel calm and reassured from our very first appointment. He has been professional, respectful, and attentive throughout my pregnancy journey. At every visit, I came with many questions, and he always took the time to listen patiently and respond with care and expertise. His calm demeanor and professionalism gave me the confidence I needed during such an emotional and important time.nnHis assistant, Christine, is absolutely amazing. She responds to emails almost instantly and is always ready to help with anything you need. This is my first pregnancy, and it’s been an emotional journey—but Christine has supported me very much through every concern and fear I’ve had.nnThank you so much for your kindness and support. I’m truly grateful.

If you guys are committed to a solution, then why don’t you refund us the 25 grand you guys took. You guys never did your job to an acceptable level. I am at a new clinic and they are doing testing on us that you guys neglected amongst many other things. I also can’t even see my review. The amount of 1 star horror story reviews are absurd for a professional expensive medical clinic! Clearly, this is not right! Plus, I can’t seem to find my initial review, I hope it wasn’t deleted!

It's taking me a long time to finally write this review, I was with New Life about 5 or 6 years ago now. I am still currently undergoing treatments with another clinic but I started my journey with New Life. When I first started, the invasiveness and uncomfortable reality of the treatments were startling. With little directions, I guess the nurses and doctors just assumed I knew the drills but being thrown into vaginal ultrasounds and all the starting tests was difficult and uncomfortable. After about six months of tests and cycle monitoring, I was adjusting to the routine, invasive tests. They had a new technician who they let observe and practice doing vaginal ultrasounds on me for a few months and she was not improving in either time or accuracy. The ultrasounds took upwards of 30 minutes until the trainer would take over. What caused me to seek a new clinic was one such day where this technician was taking an inordinately long time to complete the vaginal ultrasound when a receptionist burst into the room, leaving the door open to the hallway. The curtain was pushed to the side, as it almost always was. The trainee continued to struggle with the test while the trainer turned and began arguing with the receptionist about a stool. I have never felt so uncomfortable or so humiliated in my life. I was trembling and paralyzed at the same time. When the receptionist finally left, closing the door. The trainer asked if I was okay. I don't even recall if I answered or not. I do recall numbly walking to the front desk after leaving the appointment and reporting to them what had happened. The girl there responded with an apology and asked if there was anything else she could help with. I left and cried in my car in the parking lot before finally going home. I hope in the last few years New Life has improved their practices and bedside manners but as this had been a lasting and traumatic experience for me, I felt I should share it with other women who might be considering this clinic. It is your body and while you are in these treatments, you may be desperate and disheartened but never let these people disrespect you or humiliate you, it will stay with you for the rest of your life.

I deeply appreciate the supportive and professional behavior of this center toward its patients. My wife had been struggling with serious issues, including unbalanced hormones and a blockage in her fallopian tubes, leading to 14 years of infertility.nnWe began our treatment journey at this center under the care of Dr. Salim Daya, who developed a comprehensive treatment plan for my wife, focusing on an accurate diagnosis. Shortly after, her condition was resolved, and by the end of 2024, we were blessed by Allah with a beautiful baby girl.nnI am truly grateful to this center, especially to Dr. Salim Daya, whose unwavering support, compassion, and dedication to his patients have been remarkable.nnLastly, I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to all the staff members of this center, including the nurses and reception team, for their excellent service and care.
