SPZ Lab's mission is to help involuntarily childless couples to a successful fertility course. Greater focus on causes in men can help many hopeless fertility treatments to be avoided. For the individual couple, this means fewer disappointments and a shorter path to the desired child.

SPZ Lab offers the SDI ® test (SDI = Sperm DNA Integrity) for childless couples and fertility clinics. The test is well documented in research and examines whether the sperm's DNA is robust or fragile. Fragile DNA in sperm is a crucial cause and is seen in approximately every other couple in need of fertility treatment. A regular sperm quality test cannot reveal this problem. 

The SDI ® test includes detailed and personal advice on the possible causes of reduced fertility in men. Once the causes are identified and treated, the man can achieve better fertility in just 3 months. At the same time, he achieves better health.

Within the last 10 years, there have been a large number of scientific reports documenting that more diseases in children and young people are due to new changes in the DNA (mutations). More than 90% of these new mutations come from the father. In order to prevent the diseases in the child, it is important that the father's health at the time of conception is as good as possible. We therefore place great emphasis on the personal advice of the man, as better fertility also means better health for both father and child.
