63rd Annual Meeting of the Canadian Fertility and Andrology Society (CFAS)

I am thrilled to invite you to the 63rd Annual Meeting of the Canadian Fertility and Andrology Society (CFAS). The meeting is happening September 14–16, 2017 at the beautiful Westin Bayshore Hotel in Vancouver. The Bayshore is a favorite for locals and tourists alike, with stunning views of the North Shore Mountains and Vancouver Harbour, and seawall access to Stanley Park and downtown destinations like Gastown and Canada Place.

With the theme “Healthy Body, Healthy Baby”, we hope to highlight the issues of pre-conceptional health and how we can optimize outcomes for our patients and their children born of our technologies. We are bringing together an internationally-renowned faculty to present the latest science and technologies in ART, and other laboratory, clinical, ethical, legal, psychological and social aspects of Reproductive Medicine. CFAS is well recognized nationally as a very unique professional society due to the broad range of specialties within its membership. I believe that the future of medicine lies within a multidisciplinary approach to patient care and hope that the format and spirit of this meeting will encourage lively collegial discussion.

Aside from its natural beauty, Vancouver also prides itself on being healthy. For those who want to be a Vancouverite for a day and join us for some outdoor activities, please bring runners.
