Institut Rhonaplin

The Rhône-Alpes Institute was created in Bron in 1984 at the Clinique Sainte Marie Thérèse.

The aim was to bring together a team of doctors and biologists specializing in Medically Assisted Procreation or AMP (Intrauterine Insemination, In Vitro Fertilization or IVF, with or without ICSI) to offer patients the ease of examinations and multidisciplinary consultations in one place.
Over time, the techniques have evolved, the first birth by in vitro fertilization or IVF took place in 1985, by IAC in 1985 and by ICSI in 1995. The team has grown, the premises also and the institute rhonalpin moved in July 2005 to join the Val d'Ouest Clinic in Ecully .

The team is now made up of 11 doctors, gynecologists, andrologists, endocrinologists, medical nutritionist and psychiatrist, 2 biologists and 6 technicians from the Biomnis laboratory and 9 assistants.

Our goal is to offer support for your infertility and your MPA in the best possible conditions, technical and human.
We try to listen to you and offer you the most suitable treatment with consultations between regular specialists and made easy by the location unit.

Doctors and biologists are part of learned societies, regional and national which allow to exchange regularly and to keep abreast of technical and medicinal advances in the field of fertility and allowing to bring an additional opportunity for couples.

Each year, around 600 ovulation monitors are carried out, 800 intrauterine inseminations, 500 IVF punctures (In Vitro Fertilizations) and 600 ICSI and more than 500 transfers of frozen embryos within the Rhonalpin Institute.

Information meetings for couples starting an MPA and IVF (In Vitro Fertilization) course are offered every 2 months in the evening in the clinic.
