In 1985, by the Grace of God, who brings hope and salvation through his Son Jesus Christ, Pro Vita Specialist hospital a highly reputable fertility hospital in Ghana was established. It is a specialized medical facility that provides up to date medical services by experienced personnel. We combine compassion and expertise with advanced infertility and reproductive treatment options, including IVF, Obstetrics, Gynaecology, Egg & Sperm Donation and General cases. The result is personalized approach to a medical care that centers on the client/patient. 

This center has offered very appreciable services and breakthrough cases since its inception, notables ones being the establishment of the 1st I.V.F Center in 1995 and the 1st Sperm bank and in October of the same year the first IVF baby was born. It is still a reliable hospital to visit due to its efficient services and valued success rate in I.V.F, Gynaecology and Obstetrics. 

At Pro Vita your treatment is monitored from beginning to end by our team. Our attention to detail, coupled with innovation in the treatment of infertility allows you access to a high quality program that will work closely with you to help you achieve your dream of parenthood. We offer the latest treatment protocols for all types of infertility. We are available to our patients from Monday to Fridays 8:00am – 4:00pm (08:00 –16:00GMT). 

The duration of the treatment is on average 8-10 weeks but will depend on the patient history. 

If your own fertility and that of your partner is normal, there will be roughly a 1 in 3 chance of becoming pregnant as a result of unprotected intercourse during the fertile phase of each cycle. Those women who do become pregnant with out any assistance generally do so within 2 years of trying, 80% conceiving during the first year. Those who do not get pregnant after two years of uncontracepted intercourse may contact us for treatment. 

Infertility is a problem of a couple and not a problem of women alone, we advise couples to come together if possible in order to save time. Couples may come after five days of abstaining from sexual intercourse. 

Age is a relative barrier to our treatment. Menopausal women can also receive treatment to be pregnant. Patients with premature seizure of the menstrual cycle can also receive treatment to be pregnant. There is hope for couples whose wives have blocked tubes, endometriosis and men with low sperm count and those who have no sperm at all.

Pro Vita Specialist Hospital is conveniently located at Tema community-6 on Nana Prempeh Street and 30 minute drive from the Kotoka International Airport through the Accra –Tema motor way. Hotels are available in the vicinity.
