Based on our thorough training and experience that comes from the successful handling of infertility cases, all members of the medical and scientific staff of the unit are able to understand the needs of couples facing infertility problems.

Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology - Assisted Reproduction at the Democritus University of Thrace. She has been trained in Gynecological Endocrinology, in human reproduction - in vitro fertilization. She received the specialty of Obstetrics-Gynecology. He was elected Lecturer of Physiology in 1989 and Assistant Professor of Physiology in 1994. In 1998 he became a permanent Assistant Professor of Physiology. In 2000 he was elected Associate Professor of Physiology with emphasis on Reproductive Physiology - In Vitro Fertilization. In 2005 he was elected Full Professor of Physiology with emphasis on Reproductive Physiology - In Vitro Fertilization. 

From 2005 to 2007 he was the Director of the Physiology Laboratory and the Laboratory of Reproductive Physiology - Artificial Insemination. From 2007 to 2011 Director of the In Vitro Fertilization Unit of the University General Hospital of Alexandroupolis. From 2012 to 2018 Director of the Laboratory of Reproductive Physiology - Artificial Insemination. In 2018 he became Professor of Obstetrics - Gynecology - Assisted Reproduction. Since 2019 he is the director of the University Obstetrics - Gynecology Clinic of the Medical Department of the Democritus University of Thrace. His scientific work includes more than 100 publications in international journals and many lectures by invitation to international and Greek conferences. 

In 2000, Professor Nikos Nikolettos founded the medically assisted reproduction unit "Embryocosmogenesis". "Embryocosmogenesis" is one of the most modern units of assisted reproduction in Greece, located in the region of Eastern Macedonia - Thrace, in the remote Alexandroupolis. In a difficult geographical area with severe problems, such as the kilometer distance from the major urban centers, the marriage between religions and their peculiarities, the great contrasts that one encounters in this remote area, led us to the right decision.
