SSMH was started in 1995 with a view to treat and help the people in this remote area of Haryana, where no medical facility were available. No doctors were ready to start their clinics and hospitals here. Then Dr (Major) Surat Singh along with Dr Renu Yadav came forward to start their hospital here. It was a very tough job to begin working with not even a single hand to help. Slowly the Dr duo started making the people aware of the health issues and solved many of them. Initially the patients were been referred to Delhi, Jaipur and Rohtak, but now they were being treated for their aliments here in Mahendergarh.
SSMH is equipped with latest technology and equipment. Now this multi specialty hospital has got NABH certification and now working to get NABH accreditation .
After many years of hard work and struggle Dr Major Surat Singh Yadav started with his own Sharbati School and Sharbati Nursing college. SNC (Sharbati Nursing College) have trained many batches of nurses who have obtained jobs in various part of country and abroad, in government and non- government agencies. Time to time various training’s and CME’s had been held for nurses and doctors.
