Promea is a specialized medical center for Day Surgery and a cutting-edge center in the field of Reproductive Medicine , Gynecology and Andrology . C within assisted fertilization forefront in Italy with regard to reproduction, PROMEA has received authorization from the Piedmont Region to the activity of Medically Assisted Procreation of second and third level . Promea has a Cytogenetics and Molecular Biology Laboratory equipped with modern techniques for the screening and diagnosis of genetic alterations, with particular specialization in assisted fertilization techniques ,  artificial insemination (in vitro fertilization) , amniocentesis and CVS,  Harmony test  and latest Aurora Test . Homologous artificial insemination is a fertilization procedure that consists in the treatment of the seminal fluid coming from the partner of the person undergoing treatment, and then in its deposition in the uterus (intrauterine insemination), or in the cervix (intracervical insemination), through the use of a special probe .
