The GIBIR clinic was created on November 10, 1997 and approved by the Ministry of Public Health and Social Welfare of Paraguay, as a Center specialized in the management and treatment of high complexity in infertile couples.

The first pregnancy with the ICSI technique in Paraguay (intracytoplasmic sperm injection) in 1998.
The first pregnancy reported with semen obtained by testicular biopsy in an azoospermic male, year 1998
The first freezing of human semen in Paraguay, 1998.
The first pregnancy with the use of frozen embryos in Paraguay, year 1999.
First freezing of ovules for fertility preservation, 2012.
The first newborn of In Vitro Fertilization with embryo transfer in Blastocyst stage, year 2013.
