We use our own standards in the diagnosis and therapy of infertility based on the recommendations of the Polish Society of Reproductive Medicine, Polish Gynecological Society, European Society of Human Reproduction and the Cochrane base. We report our results annually to the European Society for Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE) as part of the EIM Program - European IVF Monitoring. In addition to the standard IVF protocols, we use the "Friendly" IVF protocol in selected cases, which reduces the costs and risk of complications, obtaining a similar percentage of pregnancies.

The Ab Ovo Diagnostic Laboratory is a modernly equipped unit with an andrological and embryological profile. We conduct diagnostic tests of male and female infertility and perform assisted reproduction procedures. For treated couples, we offer endocrine tests, including determination extremely helpful in determining the reproductive potential of women anti-Mullerian hormone (AMH), determination of antibody levels, virological tests, as well as microbiological cultures.

In the andrological part of the Ab Ovo Laboratory, you can perform tests necessary for the diagnosis and treatment of male infertility, such as: semen analysis (spermiogram), detection of sperm in urine or checking for the presence of anti-sperm antibodies in seminal plasma (MAR test). The laboratory also deals with the preparation of sperm for the intrauterine insemination procedure with husband's sperm (AIH) and donor sperm (AID). The Ab Ovo Laboratory runs a SEED BANK, which allows you (in the absence of sperm at your partner's) to use the sperm of an anonymous donor.

Recruitment of donors is carried out in accordance with the guidelines of the Polish Society of Reproductive Medicine, including genetic (karyotype, CFTR gene mutations) and virological (HIV, HCV, Hbs, WR, CMV) tests with a six-month grace period. When using the SEED BANK, the donor and recipient must be anonymized on both sides. We also offer the possibility of freezing and storing egg cells and semen for patients undergoing oncological procedures, as well as for men donating sperm for later use for assisted reproduction procedures.
