IUI (intrauterine insemination) Cyprus

Vaccination (insemination) is a common method used in patients who have not been able to obtain pregnancy naturally.

Within the scope of vaccination treatment, our eggs (1 or 2) are grown with special drugs in our in vitro fertilization center and spawning occurs with fracture needle at the appropriate time.

— Sperm is prepared in the laboratory at 36 hours following this procedure.

— The fastest sperm is selected and introduced into the uterus through a thin catheter.

— Vaccination is a simple method that does not require narcosis. The success rate of vaccination            treatment is around 15% -20%.

Indications for application - To whom?

— Unexplained causes of infertility

— Women with ovulation problems

— Women with abnormal cervical structure

— Men with mild concentration or movement problems in sperm count

— The stages of vaccination are as follows:

Ovarian Stimulation and Ovulation Induction / Egg Amplification

Breeding of the eggs is a process to increase the chance of pregnancy. This process is based on insemination, ie inoculation, of 1 or 2 eggs, which are developed naturally or by drug therapy, in the case of at least one intact tuba. To achieve this, an appropriate number of sperm and sperm movements are required. A total period of 10 -12 days passes from the beginning to the end of treatment.

Sperm Preparation

The main purpose of sperm preparation is to select and select the sperm with the best speed.
In this context, fast sperm are separated from slow, immobile or dead sperm and optimized for vaccination.

Insemination / IUI / Vaccination

The sperm must be prepared first for vaccination. Therefore, a sperm sample is taken from the man at least 2 hours before the procedure. This makes sperm suitable for vaccination. In the vaccination / insemination process, the cervix is made visible by means of a device called speculum.
These procedures are very similar with the smear process and the whole process is painless, no anesthesia is needed.

After the cervix becomes visible with the help of the speculum, the cervix is passed through a soft cannula and the endometrium (inside the uterus) is reached.

At this stage, the sperm which is started to be prepared about 2 hours before the application and the fastest selected sperm are introduced into the endometrium.
