After a terrible experience at a clinic in our home country (Ontario, Canada) my partner and I started doing research on continuing our fertility journey abroad. We picked four clinics in Spain (because of how gay friendly the country is) and had our first online meeting with them to pick which clinic we wanted to go with. Unidad de Reproducción (URE) Centro Gutenberg quickly caught our attention as we had our first meeting with the doctor who would be in charge of our care. He explained the process well, brought up findings from the first round of IVF my partner did here, and even told her she had PCOS, something that was omitted from our care in Canada.nThe process went very smoothly, we were shocked that we didn’t have to pay in advance. We paid as we went and they were very nice letting us pay in multiple times as our credit cards had low daily limits.nBoth my partner and I did an IVF cycle. We were able to time our cycle and with an adjustment of our medications start date, my partner and I were able to have out egg retrieval on the same day which was pretty awesome. Dr. Sanchez was fantastic throughout to the whole process. He answered all our questions, and reassured us with our worries. The experience in Spain was a lot more “chill” than in Canada. To be able to see the doctor every appointment made such a difference. Plus he was the one doing all the ultrasound and therefore knew exactly what was going on.nWhile we were there, we were also able to meet the embryologist which walks us through the growth of our embryos. He showed us how they were developing, and what they should look like. We felt in control and we understood what was going on, why they were keeping some, and why some were not developing well.nWe also had a warm welcome from all the staff. Isabel and Nurina helped us when we got there and throughout the whole preparation beforehand, from home.nLastly, I cannot do a review without talking about the location of the clinic. The view on the beach makes this place stand out. Every day we had an appointment we made it a beach day (as we were staying further into the city). The pharmacy around the corner was great for all of our medication needs. Also, as a celiac, I was ecstatic to find a gluten-free bakery (Pastelería Nata & Chocolate) which was delicious and also a must before heading to the beach.nThanks to Unidad de Reproducción (URE) Centro Gutenberg and the entire team, my partner got pregnant on the first embryo transfer and we now have a beautiful 3-month-old boy. We are already starting to plan our new visit where I will be the one getting the transfer this time..

We can't find enough words to describe all experiences we had with that clinic! Quick responses on ours email,I've get pregnant in second round and now we have one year old boy.Dr Sanchez is so professional, friendly and full of knowledge you feel like you are in right hand to your journey here .Definitely i would recommend that clinic and Malaga is also nice place to spend some time there ..

** Made with lots of Love and just a little bit of Science***nMy journey began in November 2023 with a consultation. Having lost my daughter on due date to Stillbirth 18 years ago, I longed for a family. After much research about this clinic and its doctors, I flew from Dublin & From the very 1st consultation, Dr Sanchez made me feel confident in the care and expertise he showed.nI could return home to Dublin with all my fertility medication and very clear instruction. All my scans and tests in the lead up to transfer day could be carried out in Ireland. The team, isabel & Nuria were on hand 24/7 by phone or email for any questions and they responded promptly. I only had to return to Malaga for the day of the Embryo Transfer. A date was set for February 2024 to proceed with an Embryo Donation procedure. After this 1st attempt failed, I returned again in October 2024 for a repeat of the same procedure.nThankfully on test day I could see a clear Positive. I continued with oral medication until week 16 and was also under the care of my fantastic maternity services in Ireland. All the while Dr Sanchez & his fantastic team were on hand, checking in regularly with me and providing excellent advice & reassurance. After longing & waiting for almost 18 years, my beautiful son was born Healthy at 37 weeks in June 2025.nWithout the help & care of this clinic I would never have seen my dream come true. I will be eternally grateful to Dr Sanchez, his team & the extremely selfless act of generosity from the Donor Couple, without whom none of this would be possible.nDreams really do come true..

After ten long months of pregnancy, my baby has finally arrived! This hospital was recommended by a friend who praised its doctors as having ‘the hands of God,’ capable of making my dream of having a child come true. From the initial tests to a fully customized treatment plan tailored to my body, everything was perfect. My doctor was incredibly attentive, even accommodating my personal schedule to ensure the best possible care—and in the end, we succeeded on the very first attempt!

The worse experience of any fertility centre in the world. The receptionist didn’t even say a word Hola and welcome guest that come in. No response. Was on her headphone answering phone call by phone calls(not just on one phone call. The next person that greeted me refuse to understand and instead just continue blaming on i should not be upset, because of the receptionist doesnt speak english. It is not that she doesnt speak english, it is that she didnt reaponse to guest who sit down and wait. Instead of apologising they all just defensing the receptionist. Isabel continue telling about how should i feel instead of understanding the situation, and apologize that we keep you waiting. We were already writing and in communication with someone that do speak English. If a receptionist could just hide her bad service by using ‘not speaking English’, they better dont take international guests.nDifficult to find parking place. Staff are arrogant thinking they are the best clinic.nWhereby we are only choosing this as an option to consider. Thanks God it has been filtered out by itself. Another clinic was way friendlier, newer, cleaner place. Receptionist was also with headset and on a call. I sat beside to wait abit, and she greeted me right after the her phone call. Didnt speak English at all but proceeding me to someone who speaks right away.nnI just read their response below, it is showing how arrogant this clinic is and failed in learning to first understand the situation of the client’s experience , let alone to improve.They are being defensive rather than accepting critics and improve. Totally failing to understand the situation that the first problem here is absolutely not about ‚the receptionist doesnt speak English‘, but the main problem is the receptionist was proceeding to answer phone calls, without greeting at the client who has appointment and has been waiting in front of her. Didn’t give any response even she saw, nor greeted.nnSecond, if the clinic is looking forward to have more international clients, i think it is not too much to at least training the receptionist to be able to say ‚Hello, what is your name or please follow me.‘nnI have been interacting with so many receptionists,staff even governmental office people here in Spain which is not speaking English at all, yet i could feel and appreciate their courtesy and friendliness.And things just went so well.nnWell, we are also very happy to don't need to ever visit this clinic again, it is horrible to find parking anyway. Happily found other professional clinic which has a receptionist that also do not speak very well English but very welcoming and attentive and proceed us nicely to someone could speak.nnAll the best! Universe works in a wonderful of filtering things, place and people that doesn’t align well ;)
