Ginefiv is made up of more than 80 professionals specialised in different areas (Gynaecology, Biology, Urology, Nursing and Psychology) led by Professor Bajo Arenas (President of the Spanish Gynaecology and Obstetrics Society) and Dr Martínez de Arenaza. Every day we team up and channel all our experience, efforts and hopes into meeting our main objective: achieving the best results in terms of pregnancy rates. Ever since our foundation in 1987, we have been pioneers in the field of Sterility and Infertility Treatments in Spain. In 1988, our work led to the birth of the first baby resulting from the use of a frozen embryo in Madrid. In 1996, our work led to the birth of the first baby conceived through an Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection.

We are aware of the emotional repercussions that the discovery of fertility problems can have on the couple. That is why we strive to provide the couple with the most compassionate and friendly care possible, as well as with all the necessary information. In order to make our patients feel as comfortable as possible in our Centre, we have a Patient Support Team, with the objective of easing the tension and fear a couple may feel when facing these treatments. It is available at all times to answer your questions about the techniques, planning and organisation of your treatment, the costs of the treatments and consultations, medical covers, psychological support, etc.

The proven experience of our team of specialists rests on two pillars: Our contributions to the scientific community through numerous publications and the trust of a great many professionals in the field of human reproduction, who at times refer their patients to Ginefiv (60% of our patients) and to come to Ginefiv to train and retrain in the field of assisted reproduction.

Methodology: We know that quality care is essential to the attainment of our patients’ main objective: “having a baby”. That is why Ginefiv has a team of multidisciplinary specialists who, in a coordinated manner, analyze, evaluate and suggest the best solutions for each patient.

Extensive internal and external quality control: We know that delivering the highest standard of care alone is not enough. Through experience we have learnt that in order to obtain the best results, a strict quality control system is essential. That is why the work of our team is subjected to strict quality control procedures and is developed using state-of-the-art equipment, which has enabled us to offer our patients a high pregnancy rate ever since our foundation.

Research, Development and Innovation (R&D&I): This is the basic principle of the philosophy at Ginefiv and, therefore, our team of specialists works on the basis of improving the pregnancy rates year by year, devoting time and resources to the research, development and implementation of the newest techniques available in the field of reproduction.
