I strongly advise anyone going through the already challenging emotional journey of IVF to think twice before choosing this clinic. This has been, by far, the most disappointing medical experience I have ever had.
Questions about the treatment plan were often discouraged. Even basic topics such as genetic testing of embryos, selecting which embryos should be screened, or understanding the rationale behind medication choices were met with minimal explanations. Over time, I felt uncomfortable even asking questions, which should never happen in an IVF process.
IVF is a delicate and highly emotional journey. You need a team that is attentive, prepared, communicative, and able to guide you clearly through every step. Despite being one of the most expensive clinics in the region, this center did not offer the level of support or professionalism we expected.

Ignored After Failure: After the treatment failed, there was zero follow-up. I was never called, checked on, or offered any form of guidance or support. The lack of care or concern was immediate and absolute, making me feel completely dismissed once payment was finalized.n• Lack of Professionalism: True professionalism involves supporting patients through all outcomes, including failure. Here, the focus appears to be exclusively on maintaining a glossy image. The continuous promotion of only successful cases while ignoring others is highly misleading and manipulative.n• Transparency Issues: This clinic seems primarily focused on managing its "success rate" image rather than the well-being of its patients. Patients are not numbers; we are individuals who invested time, money, and hope.

I am currently halfway through my 'two week wait' but wanted to share my thoughts on the clinic outside of its success and failure.nOur road through and to IVF was difficult. We are from the UK and through religious objections to some practices in IVF, we wanted to do a mild stimulation. The NHS refused to. Private UK clinics costed a fortune and we even tried in Poland due to their robust legislation surrounding embryo preservation, however, we frequently came across obstructions from the clinic we were in contact with. We believe the consultant didn't want to honour our choice as it would affect their statistics. I even found they added a X7 price increase onto one aspect of the procedure. We faced alot of closed doors and underlying hostilities and therefore, they let us down a couple of weeks before we were due to start IVF.nWithin two weeks of contact with Bahçeci, I was in Istanbul with Bahceci and starting the process of IVF, on only a mild stimulation. We knew this would lower our chances, but our consultant Dr Ozdamar acknowledged this but was also optimistic of our chances and spoke positively about our case in each conversation.nI spent my first week of treatment alone and I relied heavily on Dila, my translator - it was quite daunting at first but she was always a WhatsApp message away and clear in her communications. She was with me all the way through and integral in my experience through the process. I expected the process to be clinical and sterile, that I'd hate the lack of dignity and invasiveness of the monitoring and surgeries, but was surprised by how it brought my husband and I closer as a couple and I was able to witness the miracle of very early child development that attested to its miraculousness, rather than taking away from it. I'd had mostly negative experiences with medical personnel in fertility fields but felt a friendliness with Bahçeci without loosing the directness needed at those important times. Particuarly with Dila. I received a great amount of compassionate care from the medical staff during both operations and after the embryo transfer I felt genuine and sincere wishes of good luck from those I came into contact with who wished me well. We weren't waiting for long periods of time as some reviews suggest, even when the waiting room was full which was most of the time.nIn terms of our odds, we had 3 eggs in the end and I was blessed to have 1 embryo successfully transferred (we were told that our odds were exceptionally low if not unlikely any embryo would be made elsewhere) and so we believe our journey with Bahçeci to be a success.nnThankyou all very muchnnEDITnnI am pregnant and expecting a baby 👶 in June 2026 🌟

I had a good experience at this IVF clinic with Dr. Güvenç Karlıkaya. ❤️ We were lucky to achieve success on our very first attempt. From the start, the doctor inspired calm and confidence, and it really helped reduce my anxiety and stress. All procedures were handled gently and professionally, I went through them easily and without any complications.nnThe clinic itself left a good impression. The only downside is that appointments can sometimes involve long waiting times.nnOf course, IVF always involves an element of luck, but I truly believe that choosing the right doctor matters, and Dr. Karlıkaya made a real difference for us. We had previously undergone IVF treatment in Norway and wanted to see if this clinic offered different methods or more competitive pricing. The clinic engages in very aggressive marketing, particularly targeting foreigners.nnThe consultation, which was supposed to be free, quickly turned into a paid session when we were told the doctor needed to perform an examination before giving any opinions. Although we brought all our medical reports, the ultrasound took only two minutes and was completely unnecessary — all relevant information was already included in our documentation, and no new insights were provided.nnLater, we realized this was done solely to charge us 7,000 lira. We actually liked the doctor, but because of this petty tactic, we decided never to return.nnThe entire staff acted more like retail salespeople aggressively pushing a product than healthcare professionals. The waiting room was filled only with foreigners from the Middle East, which further confirmed our impression that the clinic targets international patients.nnTheir prices are extremely high — 130,000 lira plus numerous additional charges for a treatment that costs the same in Scandinavia. They offer nothing different or better, and it's quite unreasonable that they charge such inflated prices in a country where labor costs are significantly lower. It felt like they had separate, higher pricing for foreigners.nnWe later had consultation appointments at Acibadem and the American Hospital, and both were very professional and inspired much more confidence.nnOverall, I strongly recommend avoiding this clinic.

Unfortunately our experience was not that good, in terms of client service, our assigned translator and contact person, were not professional enough from the arrival, were often late and did not reply to our messages afterwards. After a big failure in communication, I'd regret to say, I wouldn't recommend it, specially if you're coming from abroad. We could not get a hold of them until today's date..

The clinic in Fulya looks and feels like a posh market for people's dreams. The reception is the only pretty place there. Once they trick you in to pay and get in, there are rooms with no windows, plastic gowns and dirty furniture. Weekends there's no one around - Saturday they rush work until midday and the afternoon and all day Sunday they are closed, while an IVF procedure often requires daily checkups irrespective of the day of the week.nExaminations last seconds, blood results aren't looked at and two months after the failed procedure I am still experiencing health issues and the additional money they made me pay for a transfer, were never returned.nNone of our concerns during, immediately after or months after the procedure were answered.nAdditionally they blamed the lack of success on me and my husband and told us our "results" will only get worse with every next time. Poor skill and medical knowledge, lack of compassion and complete lack of humanity..

We live in Netherlands we had 3 IVF treatment over here we also tried once in Belgium but we had no luck. Before i met Prof. Mustafa Bahceci i was diagnosed as infertile by dutch doctors and suggested to consider adopting a child. I want to have second opinion from Mr. Bahceci whom i heard lots of nice things about. He was very honest and frank with me, he told me i had low chance but if i want he is willing to work on it. He did not give me any false hope or run down other doctors that i have been seeing, that gave me more confidence in him. He also told me this might take several attempt, i should be prepared for that. He introduce me to Op. Dr. Lale Susan Karakis, she is very experienced doctor and extremely kind person. She support me and comfort me during and after my treatments. I find Bahceci Fulya team very considerate,kind, helpful and dedicated to their patients.They were also very flexible and did their best to be efficient with time, this was very important for us because me and my husband had to fly to Istanbul each time. It is not a coincidence that they have many many success stories and we are one of them. After 8 years of trying and many complications finally we had our son Jan to our arms. Dr. Lale not only helped me with getting pregnant she also treated me so i can stay pregnant. We will ever be grateful for what they did for us, i can not recommend this clinic enough..
