Global Surrogacy Services is a surrogacy agency that is committed to helping intended parents fulfill their dream of having children of their own, while providing the best possible care for both the child and the gestational surrogate. Our founder is Shana Melamed, Pharm.D. a noted pharmacist with a strong track record of managing the entire surrogacy process from both a medical and a legal perspective. She has spent years helping people from all walks of life negotiate the long but rewarding journey towards parenthood.

Ms. Melamed’s background includes years spent teaching pharmacology to nursing students. She has been invited to Washington D.C. by the United States Congress to discuss healthcare, and has been asked to give numerous lectures on pharmaceutical compounding to medical residents at UCLA and USC. She has also participated in study programs with a number of universities. Ms. Melamed’s awards and honors included being named Businesswoman of the Year by the City of Beverly Hills.

Prior to founding our firm, Ms. Melamed spent decades in the fertility field as the owner and operator of a highly successful fertility pharmacy, where she spent years helping intended parents and surrogates obtain required medicines. Working with numerous reproductive endocrinologists, ob/gyns, and other medical specialists, Ms. Melamed’s in-depth experience offers clients and surrogates the benefit of her unique insight. She ensures that lines of communication with both intended parents and gestational surrogates are kept open, and that Global Surrogacy Services maintains the highest ethical standards and values of any surrogate mother program in United States.
