WORST EXPERIENCE! This place is not in network with health insurance and they charge upwards of $500 for a routine yearly exam (including labs and bw). The nurses there are so poorly trained, it took 3 PAINFUL attempts for them to TRY and draw blood from my wrist, only to have to the NP come in and draw it at the 4th attempt Don't waste your time. This place is nothing special. They smile and talk nicely with you in the office only to extort you financially after.

I had high expectations and Shan lived up to and exceeded them. I had been on the hunt for a new ON/GYN since the one I had been seeing for 17 years ditched her practice. I tried a couple others but from front desk experience, poor beside manners and logistically issues, it was clear we weren't aligned. I read the reviews on Shana and insisted I saw her. Arrived 20 mins early for my appointment, took care of paperwork and waited for her. The staff was pleasant, as was she. She went over my social history, other clinicians assisted with intake. She scheduled me for an ultrasound, o had a breast exam and bloodwork to assess my overall health.

She was patient, explained and felt loaded intonation for ease of transaction and most importantly value my input and treated me with dignity and respect.

Outside of the parking, (super difficult) I have no issues. I will def be back.

Last Saturday, May 18, 2024 I had a 230 appointment and didn't even leave the facility until 5:45 PM. It was my first time in the facility and I never been to a OB/GYN that long. I suffered from fibroids and I saw this company online so I figured because they specialize in the UFE procedure. Let me see what it's all about. I was even in there to talk about having another child with my fiancé.

One of the young doctors is very knowledgeable and I appreciate it her but then the visit be getting to go down word in a spiral. They told me I had to do an ultrasound even though I already told him I did a transvaginal ultrasound where my doctor are at in Pennsylvania . They wanted to see about my follicles, etc. I proceeded to get blood work done for some reason, the phlebotomist cannot find my vein or withdrawal any blood. Then I second one came in after I was about to leave my fiancé and I she was able to get about 3 1/2 valves of blood, but the visit was overall annoying. The first lobotomies was supposed to go get me water and never returned.

Then they had this person who handles the billing on site I don't know if she seems a little shady talking about in network and out of network etc. and if I receive a check in the mail send it to them, etc. I don't know ! I told the front desk receptionist I wanted to speak to the manager about the treatment that I received. I was due to get a phone call at 12:30 on Monday afternoon but never received that call. So I guess Tuesday, May 21, I will be hunting down whoever is the on site manager. There was so many discrepancies there that day. I've never been in the doctors office three hours long that was crazy. I got poked in separate arms and I was actually hurting after the visit.

To me, it was false advertisement because I know on the commercial I saw all young lady getting tea, etc. I wasn't offered tea. It was just a mini refrigerator in the lobby with small bottles of water. As long as I was sitting there, he should've offered me some food or something .

After years of being a patient here and having great experiences, this last time was SO bad between NP Caciana and the office manager I am reconsidering where I receive OB GYN care. Blatant oversight and failure to follow up on mistakes via the office manager. All of my texts, emails and calls have been BLATANTLY ignored and I'm 6 months out from a resolution after they wasted my time with a million phone calls asking me to repeat every little step of what happened. Cost me an extra $100 due to their carelessness. I will update my review to add in more details shortly.

I don't recommend this facility because they were not very transparent on pricing before I got there. I asked them if they were out of net work they told me no, and it turns out that they were indeed out of net work. They charge a tremendous amount to go visit for some thing. That's a well visit and would've been free for me had i gone somewhere else. There were no tea and refreshments like you see on Instagram. I also was hit with $100 bill when I showed up and my well visits again are free. Parking is difficult. And the ladies in the front all had very long nails and we're very busy chatting with each other and not paying attention. I had to stand there for a long time just to get their attention and they let me know that I had to give them $100. I just don't understand why prior to the visit I wasn't told this. I am not happy with the experience. I had at Viva Eve and I highly suggest to you to seek out someone who is a fibroids endometriosis specialist that's within your net work because they exist if you look for them this is not the only option this is just the most expensive option.

I was informed only on my 21st week of pregnancy that I would have to pay 8,000.00 out of pocket if I would continue with the clinic. All of this because now the clinic will not accept my insurance, even though my insurance hasn't changed during this time and i have the exact same i had from the very beginning.

I have no complaints about the way i was treated during the time I visited the clinic. But now i am having a very hard time finding a new provider that accepts me at 21 weeks pregnant.
This is causing me anxiety and has been an emotional damage during this time.

Horrific. They somehow made a routine pap painful. This is not normal and I've never experienced this with any other doctor. The appointment took over four hours with wait time. Then they messed up my lab results and I ended up having to call the lab myself to sort things out.

This place is a mill. I've had better experiences at the DMV. Avoid at all costs and don't be fooled by the fake reviews. They can't even do routine procedures competently or painlessly.

Doctor Gopal and Gohar are great medical professionals as well as the nurse practitioners,
you can tell they honestly care for the well being of their patients, - that being said , the billing department is a complete mess. Unfortunately I have not returned to this office because of the continuous issues I experienced.

This is an out of network medical office so my advice is to keep ALL receipts of payments and any copies of paperwork you give in because you will need it at a later date. I can't even count the number of times I got letters and calls of owing payments that I'd taken into the office months prior , then I was stuck for months making calls and drafting emails between the office and labs they used, to get the issues resolved- it was just exhausting.
I went from being a patient to a secretary many times over, and although I really liked my doctors it just isn't worth the stress.

When I found out I was pregnant, I didn't have an OB/GYN doctor (I had one but had just found out she no longer did obstetrics). I was scrambling to find one when I came upon Viva Eve in my search.

Their office is very clean and their front desk associates are very friendly/helpful. Scheduling appointments were a breeze. Waiting time is sporadic - the least I've waited was 15 min, but I've waited over an hour and a half for a visit once.

There are many providers that practice here, and every time I visit I see a new provider which can be a nuisance when you have to give a summary of your health history each time. But besides that, the providers are very thorough, they listen to my concerns, and answer all my questions. They also had me come in every 2 weeks, which I feel like it was a bit excessive, but nice if you want to get an ultrasound done every time to see the fetus.

As much as I would've liked to stay with Viva Eve for my pregnancy, i ultimately switched clinics bc their affiliated hospital is Mount Sinai West (Midtown/UWS Manhattan). Coming from Queens, it was a hike to get there for scans (NT scan and 16-20 week anatomy scans) and also thinking in the future of when I'd give birth, it's over an hour drive to get into the city (more if traffic).

I found Viva Eve when I was in severe pain from what turned out to be Shingles last year. Prior to Covid I really wasn't a person that went to the doctor due to severe anxiety. After my first visit I scheduled my annual exam with them. My original doctor moved so Dr. Gohar saw me for my next exam and has been my doctor ever since. Everyone who has spoken to me about their GYN exams were horror stories, I was ready for the worst, but I have had nothing but excellent experiences with Viva Eve especially with Dr. Gohar. The nurse practitioners and admin staff have been exceptional. I did have a scare this year that (thank goodness) turned out to be benign but my mind goes to worse case scenario and I go into panic mode. Even though I'm full of anxiety every visit the staff is kind and calming. Dr. Gohar is very clear on what is going to happen and what I should expect. He is attentive to any discomfort or pain. He even dealt with my mild-hypochondriac anxiety attacks and listened and answered all of my concerns. I am absolutely so so grateful for him. I recommend Viva Eve to my friends. I feel bad that not everyone's GYN is as caring as Dr. Gohar. Women's health care shouldn't be a traumatic experience.
