Advanced reproductive age and IVF

In my practice, I’m getting more and more patients over 40 who wish to conceive a child. The first, second, or even third one.. Why now, why not earlier? Everyone has their reasons.

What do we do in such cases?
1️⃣ The first and probably the most important step is to measure your AMH level.
2️⃣ The second step is to discuss all your “what if..” and “could we..” questions during your doctor’s appointment, when you can take and examine the whole of your situation with your doctor.
3️⃣ Then we choose a treatment plan based on your individual case. It can be an egg-banking program, a donor program or anything else depending on your situation and medical history. There is no age limit when it comes to IVF, it all depends on your body.
